I don't know how people possibly place blame on me or can have an ounce of respect for anyone who claims to be looking for me and failed to find me when I'm on b.net the whole time and they have my b.net info and one guy already has me on his friends list and nobody emailed me (the only method of contact we had been using, to which I'd been responsive all week).
I could have, but I wasn't in a rush and I wasn't aware there was a problem. It was specifically because of my rough history with online tournament organization that I didn't want to be a bother. I was patient and focused on my matches. I got all my ducks in a row and was trying to behave perfectly so that I wouldn't sabotage myself with some distraction. I absolutely could not fathom that these guys don't know how to contact someone via b.net and I still can't fathom it, which is why I'm convinced it was malicious, not negligent.
Maybe my self-esteem is just that low but I find it infinitely easier to believe that they seized an opportunity to fuck me over than to believe that they don't know how to work b.net's friends list and messaging system.
edit: As far as "smart PR moves" and staying quiet and hiding negative emotions, fuck you selfish people. Some people enjoy learning about what's going on and how people are feeling. Some people don't like how little interaction public figures actually have with the public. If you can't let those people enjoy what they enjoy and let me provide it to them without chiming in with some self-righteous judgmental bullshit, then just fuck you. Live and let live. Nobody is forcing you to read this shit. If you don't like what you're reading, read something else. Nobody cares that you're not enjoying it.

Sorry this happened Tyler. Let's move on, I truly think this is a bit blown out of proportion.
We'll do better in the future with player communication. Have a great night.
