Obviously. Since we consider Scarlett, Naniwa, Stephano, Huk, Thorzain, Snute all foreigners and all of them have spent more time in Korea than Jim.

It just sounds funny for a Chinese winning a tournament in China to be considered a foreigner haha

If you aren't from Korea...and you win...it's a foreigner win. Is this confusing in some way?
EDIT: Oh, I getcha. Yeah, that's just how it works in Starcraft. It doesn't matter where the event is, who's running it, or who's casting it. If you're not Korean, you're a foreigner in a Starcraft tournament. I remember Jinro mentioning fairly recently that in MMA fighting, it's the same way, only instead of Korea, it's Thailand.

That is funny, hahahahahah

It's exactly the same as Thorzain winning in Sweden, why is it different? Unless you consider the Chinese closer to Koreans and only the West as true foreigners.

I understand the problem with limiting options and mobility but against roach hydra? Then again i am a noob... Bomber is the only one who is ahead in the meta. Or behind, depending on how you look at it. 2 years behind or 1 month ahead. Unlike the rest of these noobs, he doesn't chase the meta, he waits for the meta to come back to him. You can choose not to go tanks. MMM vs roach/hydra fights with equal upgrades is decided by the positioning. What Bogus needed were bunkers to hold off the initial wave. Yeah, but if you build 2-3 tanks then you don't have to build bunkers and get perfect positioning.
You need at least 3 minutes prep time to build those tanks. Bunkers are done in 40 seconds.

Crazy, first Zest now Innovation. Pretty interesting results this IEM.

wtf inno 0-3 really, so dissapointed

Holy shit, just watched the vods. Taeja is a beast, he can go toe to toe with anybody in the world!
And Jaedong vs Snute was so intense, the most epic hold ever from Jaedong in game 5!
Sick games, go Jaedong!
Edit: Snute giving autographs to the fans after his loss was a great moment, nothing but respect to him, such a baller in every way.

This is just because you read "foreigner" in another sense than it is meant.
In philosophy there's a term for this. I know it in Swedish, but what is it in English? "Meaning that is sliding away?"

I am tempted to wake up at 3 am to watch Taeja rape Jaedong. I'm a big Jaedong fan, but Taeja has proved time and time again.... that he is force to be reckoned with.

The problem is... GSL championships equal a ton of preparation too... pretty much 50/50 skill/preparation... while foreign tournaments with multiple rounds a day or 1 round each day are more like 90% skill... and there is noone better than Taeja at that! Im still convinced he is the most skilled player in the world, and obviously best terran... just not that good at preparation... even tho he did get to Ro8 in GSL with bad wrist...
Maru and those, they prepare for each opponent, throwing cheeses prepared for certain maps against certain opponents... while taeja pretty much always plays straight up and relies on his pure skill to beat people... no matter what they throw at him

Damn Jim is a legend. Wish Snute could have closed it out. Now I'm rooting for Taeja, but I like Solar and I wouldn't mind Jim winning for the foreigner win
