I had the same sentiment. TvT isn't too bad, and I enjoy PvP, but ZvZ is soooo boring after the ling/bane back and forth. I do love seeing juicy bane hits, and watching such finesse and control with the lings and banes is great to watch.

Nothing gets in the way of my passion I enjoy all mirrors, but when an event starts at 3am for me I'd rather see some variety

I don't know if I've ever seen five people have too little of a chance of winning to even list before, outside of a Dreamhack. Die4Ever is not kind to the Taiwanese teams or Revival in this breakdown.

I forgot to weight towards looking at events in this tournament, I'll do it on the next simulation run, although those %s do get pretty low down there lol

wait are you serious is that true
yeah chrono makes shields regen faster
in team games you used to be able to use it on a zerg hatch to make larvae spawn faster, but they patched it out

You can still do that with neural.
a little less practical
the quick lair infestation pit into neuraling a probe to get some chrono boosts to flood lings is super standard what are you talking about

That's true. At that point in the build you usually have to sink all the chrono into the terran buildings to make them fly faster, so you don't have much left for hatcheries.

if there is a game where a zerg has neuralled both terran and protoss I will stop watching sc2 forever since nothing will top it

Snute's position is very precarious if Daisy realizes what's happening as he probably does. With so many prime warp-in positions Daisy can easily kill him.

edit 2: Ok. What's with these warp-ins. Daisy, seriously.

That's what I meant. With the mineral patch decrease it should lead to more fights over expansions all over the map. It should suit him better since he doesn't really like the 3 base death ball style.

yeah the times are nice for someone who has a weird sleep schedule and enjoys the evening/night
i could do that...except fucking college....
to be fair it's not the best thing for high school either but i've stopped caring a long time ago, SC2 > school
Word to the wise: When you have the ability to control your own schedule, do not allow yourself to force yourself to wake up early.

thats the thing...you cant really do that in college..it works in HS not so much college
I assure you its doable. Well I'm on the West Coast so it doesn't really matter for this tournament.

Pft when I was in college I'd stay up all night either partying or finishing papers. Go straight to class and come back and pass out in the afternoon. And repeat.
tmrw i have a class from 9-10:15 then 10:30-11:30 then 1:30-2:45
Rotti makes a good point in that this is nice for Protoss walls at the main, but I Soulkey won with a fucking 6 pool on Alterzim vs Zerg so nothing really makes sense.

No morning sessions for the afternoon class? I remember once I got stuck with a horrible schedule where I had 8 straight hours of classes/labs on Monday Wednesday Friday and no classes on Tuesday/Thursday.
But yeah I think I will just stay up watching IEM and GSL because I have one midterm tommorow which, okay, i'll do fine on it i studied like a tiny bit which is my average for studying. was supposed to be monday but that stupid blizzard.

I can't hate MC simply because its MC...but yea..that GSL was DRG's no matter how you looked at it...
I like to believe after having his will broken and being hunted by kespa for so long ByuN, now a tired beyond his years man has settled down in some recluse part of Korea and has opened up a puppy shelter and can live the rest of his life in peace.

It sounded more like "will never be used for killing SCVs" the way Nate said it. But speaking of Oracle spells not brought into competitive play, that freeze units in place spell will NOT make it to full release. Every time I see it, I just picture proxy into frozen mineral line.
Wow. Just wow. Daisy has to be one of the best Protoss players of all time. He can play aggressive, he can play a long macro game. After demolishing of Revival, I am completely convinced that Daisy is a top 10 Protoss right now. I have not seen good Protoss play like that in a while, especially since sOs and Zest have been losing to players like Creator. Daisy is just on another level right now. I think if he does not get cheesed or nervous, he can make at least the semifinals of IEM Taipei.

I kept on picturing an oracle and a warp prism flying in, the oracle freezing 7 patches, and the high templar storming into oblivion all the probes who naturally converged on the last one.

Are you talking about the one in the HotS beta? Because I mean the one in the LotV Alpha.

if im not mistaken you can't take damage when your units are in stasis

My first class's professor's mom died or something died, so he canceled class tomorrow. Probably will have a temp on Friday. That is why I am up watching IEM Taipei.

He must have misremembered when +2 would finish. Otherwise no reason to take that fight and not wait 4 seconds.
That's what I was thinking too. I often find myself wishing that there was that uphill miss chance from Starbow, to force players to go around, rather than just charging up a ramp like that. It just looks really bull-headed to me, and not quite as exciting as pulling someone out of position.

The full-P group would be pretty good for him
I would think group A.
Polt's TvZ sucks lately, Sen is good in ZvZ but Snute is equal or better, and he always does well against herO.
woah wtf...didn't see how far behind Leenock was on the mutas. That's odd, he had his 3rd up quicker and didn't take much damage. Guess he went overboard on the lings.
I thought leenock would be favourite here, but damn soulkey still a boss in zvz!

Yeah when leenock gg I was surprised. I thought the game was a lot closer.

SK had earlier spire and did not go overboard on lings hence the earlier and more mutas. Then small supply block -> less mutas -> death. ZvZ is snowbally matchup.

soulkey also had an earlier 4th gas as well as the 5th and 6th done when the third base finished. Just snowballed really
Leenocks +1 armor was really close to finishing. If he just had that before the muta fight I think he could have held. Been behind but held and then slowly get back with the armor upgrade. Oh well

Man up!
but exams...
How confident are you in the course, and how good is your current grade? If you're gonna maintain a C in the course anyway, you can afford to stay up. If there's even the ABSOLUTE SLIGHTEST RISK OF FALLING BELOW, then get some sleep, for the love of God, do not make the same mistake I made, King, it will fucking ruin you, I am not joking here, I only want what is best for my LR bretheren, I know how rambling I sound by only using commas and I don't care, I will not mince words on this.
Group C and D are just absurd. Better than any GSL / NSSL groups this season, but still not up to par with the infamous Innovation, Flash, Life, Parting GSL group. [Edit] Okay I lied, Group D in NSSL is pretty badass. But other than that!!
Players I'd be more than happy to see when this: Maru, Hydra, TRUE, Soulkey, Harstem, Sen.
Guys is it coincidence or scripted that both Classic and herO are not in Group C of Starleague cause that would make them not able to participate in yesterday's IEM Taipei Day 1 group stage. I recall the Starleague group stage was by draw. If either herO or Classic got a draw in Group C or either Leenock or Dark used their gold ball to switch herO or Classic to Group C then they would have to decide whether to play in IEM Taipei or in Starleague? Is this how it works? Or is everything scripted like most TV stations?

In the past tournaments have been flexible with scheduling, especially the GSL when it comes to players traveling to foreign tournaments as long as they give enough notice. There's a chance they would have just played the groups out of order rather than force them to choose between tournaments
