Hello, this is SPOTV GAMES
Did you enjoy last week’s matches? This week’s group is also a group of death. It is group C (group of champions) a.k.a. group ‘herO’.
Every single player in this group, herO, INnoVation, Life and sOs were a former champion and they will battle for two spots in the Ro.8.
Today’s match will be the clash of the biggest stars in SCII and many fans are calling it the ‘Starwars’.
Starting from IEM season8 at Singapore, herO won two championships at IEM to quickly become a big name in SCII.
However, despite his success overseas he often failed to raise the trophy inside Korea.
It took longer than many expected, but herO kept trying and finally kissed a trophy in front of many Korean fans, winning the 2015 KeSPA CUP season1.
Now, he is on a mission to win a tier1 tournament in Korea and his first hurdle is to survive the Ro.16 of Starleague season3.
INnoVation is back. He was in a slump for quite a while, but now he is spreading his wings to soar once again.
INnoVation was the first champion of the WCS premier league, which was the 2013 WCS season1 Final.
Since then he switched teams to Team Acer and started to play for a foreign team. However, he couldn’t achieve much before he returned back to Korea.
After joining one of the larger KeSPA team in SK Telecom T1, he started delivering victories once again, winning the 2014 GSL season3.
He faltered a bit again after his recent championship, but recently he is showing his true skills once again, both in the Proleague and in individual leagues. This will be a great opportunity for him to prove to the world that he is back as one of the best Terrans of the game.
‘Boys be ambitious’. This phrase fits perfectly with Life. He was the best player in SCII playing Zerg, which was considered the weakest race for a long time and he kept moving forward never looking back.
Life made a splash in 2012, becoming a royal-roader of the GSL season4.
In 2013, he won major foreign tournaments such as BlizzCup, MLG, IEM etc. and kept dominating throughout 2014, winning the WCS Global Final.
He is the Zerg who won the most premier tournaments and the only thing left in his almost perfect resume is a title at the Starleague. Today is the starting line of his road to championship.
sOs who is well known as the master of mind games and a strategist. He made a name for himself at the tournament called ‘Cross match’ in 2012, which featured 2 players each from the association and the federation. He overcame all odds to become a champion at that tournament. Everyone was surprised to see a player from the association defeat the federation players, who were dominating the scene at that time.
Since then, sOs won the 2013 WCS Global Final to secure his spot as a top tier SCII player.
He also won the IEM season8 World Championship and the Hot6 Cup Last Big Match to prove once again that he is strong at big tournaments.
Now his eyes are focused only at the Starleague trophy. It will be interesting to see if he has what it takes to become the king of kings.

The career of every single player in group ‘herO’ is outstanding. They have the experience as champions and they are the representative players of their race.
It will be disappointing to see two of these players being eliminated from the last Starleague of this year. Only two can advance into the Ro.8.
It is live right this moment, so please tune in and enjoy.
