Reading the the prize pool distribution of this tournament... The format is truly unique!
|
The prizepool is not only big, but also the duel system is really cool.
Good to see, that SC Boys will give us some fine Kespa vs Foreigner Starcraft action.

Chinese offical message (writen by XTeam.Xiaose): http://bbs.niuyou5.com/thread-2255756-1-1.html the third international invitee is Snute. Korean Qualifier = Open Non-Chinese Qualifier Chinese Qualifier including players from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan For example, Alopex should only participate in Korean Qualifier. Pigeon and CNProtoss should only participate in Chinese Qualifier.

We are still in talks with Snute but he is at DH right now so I didn't include that in the OP.
EDIT: Snute just confirmed his participation.

It's the alot of tournaments need to look at prize money. You shouldn't show up, play great games, actually win some and go home with nothing

Great to see this tournament back, Kungfucup always has a good mix of players and exciting matches.

dear whoever is responsible for kung fu cup... could you please consider making the group stages round robin instead of dual tourney? round robin is so much greater of a format and yet so rarely used

Awesome that you guys are back. I'd watch Kung Fu Cup over WCS Circuit any day of the week

Remember Naniwa's probe rush? Granted with this prize money system players have more incentive to play "meaningless games", but still, that creates more issues than it fixes.

TIME becomes the first Chinese invitee as the member of X-Team due to the victory against Ein.
