The matches for Tespa's new Collegiate Archon Tournament are starting today! We're building this forum post to relay some information about the prize pool, scheduling and format.
Matches will be broadcast from Twitch.tv/StarCraft every Monday and Tuesday starting at 5:00 PM PST.

Tournament Format:
TCS Archons is open to four-year college students in the USA and Canada, and will consist of three stages: Group Stages, Playoffs and Finals.
- Group Stages
The group stages will take place over seven weeks (2/8/2016 - 3/29/2016) . Teams will participate in a new best-of-five Swiss round on Monday or Tuesday of each week, depending on their region. At the end of the Group Stages, any team with a positive win ratio (four wins or higher) will advance to the Playoffs!Take a look at the brackets on Tespa Compete to track the groups and their performance once the tournament begins. - Playoffs
Playoffs will follow the Group Stages, consisting of a best-of-five, single elimination bracket. They will take place on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd. Regional finals (for the top for positions) will take place on Monday 4/11 and Tuesday 4/12 from 5:00-9:00PM PST. The broadcast will start at 20:00 GMT (+00:00) for both days on the Starcraft II Twitch channel! - FINALS
The TCS Archons finals will take place at Dreamhack Austin on May 7th! We will release more information as we finalize the details. Keep an eye on compete.tespa.org for updates.
Prize Pool:
Prizes are awarded as scholarships, and each member of the winning teams will receive the listed amount. Here's how the money will be distributed:
- First Place: US$12,000
- Second Place: US$7,000
- Third and Fourth Place: US$3,000
