Despite the format change Cheesadelphia remains a completely open tournament that allows players of all skill levels to try their hand at competing for the Gold (and green).
Sign ups are fifty dollars per player and our online sign up page will go live soon!
As always Cheesadelphia will be streamed on the N3rd Street Gamers Twitch channel

Had such an awesome time last time! So pumped to see this tournament growing and improving!!

Damn, that's pretty awesome. A big 1st place prize for a LAN, but still payout for top 8. I really like this prize pool set-up and look forward to tuning in.

Not a competitor, but is there a Rules and Regulations Document that you guys have for this specific tourney? Would help me with questions my players have (like age restrictions, etc)

I'll post the full document when I dig it up \ update it, but player eligibility is pretty easy. There's no national restrictions, players of all ages can play but I have a document that a parent needs to sign for those under 16.

Hi, I went to the last 2 cheesadelphia tournaments, I am only able to stay for one day, is the open bracket going to be played the first day, and the top 8 the second day? Or is the details going to be added in the future for how the bracket will be?
Thanks

Looks great guys. I'll try and make it over there!

Hey StarKiller the first day is meant to include the Ro96 (if necessary) the Ro64 and the Ro32 which is the first stage of the bracket. Hope that's helpful!

If there is no RO96, would the RO16 be included in the first day?
Thanks again ^_^

May the best cheese wiz win.
Maybe do a solid for the ladies in the arena and make sure that bathroom door locks properly.
|
Bathroom door has been fixed, previously you could lock it with the deadbolt but now the deadbolt and knob both lock it. Sign ups will open ASAP. We're just tweaking some things on our sign up system before we open it!

Editing this post to let everyone know the sign ups are open!

Looks sick! If only I lived in the US...

Updates!
We’re excited to announce that Cheesadelphia will use the Swiss Format due to overwhelming feedback from players. The Swiss Format means that everyone will get five to six games during the group stages and the players with the highest scores advance!
We’ve opened up Cheesadelphia to crowdfunding. Find us on Matcherino HERE
