Also, thanks for Crank for casting this in korean for the KR audience. I was lurking his stream a couple times and even saw MC in the chat, lol.

I don't know what was in the air tonight but for sure unusual things were happening. One of the greatest SC2 days ever, reviving some good old times vibes. Huge shoutouts to TB / Blizzard / Kespa for making such an amazing tournament happen. Incredible format, fun games, good casting, everything was incredible. And I hope the lesson is learnt and that we'll get a lot more foreigners / Koreans interaction in the near future. Basically all this :D Was super glad to be able to catch some of the games live even tho I had a lot of work this weekend. Probably the hypest day of SC2 in LoTV so far for me.

I will watch the shit out of these vods. Honestly, the games were amazing. Glad to see Stephano have the run that he did. I miss Polt playing, so I'm excited to check those out!

As you know, many of us eagerly await the VODs!!! I'd love to subscribe to I could watch them early, but this is the price I pay when I have my paychecks deposited into my wife's account. Maybe I can sneak her debit card out and register, lol. I've never subbed to anybody on twitch, but I'd be happy knowing the money would be going to you. Love your work sir, from game critiques to what you do for Starcraft. All the best!

Wasn't suppose to be an insult, sorry if it came out wrong, but Blizz is also behind this event and I feel it had to be said that they also create this event to compensate some of the problem of WCS, such as the lack of confrontation betwen korean and foreigner.

My only hope is that the Protoss lineup is better next time around. Two of the best Protoss is nice, but out of only 4 Protoss, it's kind of lackluster (esp with the other two being Super and Harstem). Still, it was cool to see Inno perform well and face some pretty unique strats.

Kind of like Worlds on LoL. That's only really true if the story is constantly being told though. I feel like right now there is not enough cooperation between these 3rd-party run WCS events to keep the storyline fresh in peoples minds throughout the year, whereas LCS puts a LOT of effort into making sure that is the case for their events.

I do miss the league format that we used to have; feels like they flowed into the weekend tournaments better than having a bunch of disconnected qualifiers that lead into individual tournaments. Leagues had their advantages and disadvantages. Story-telling and ease of keeping track of what was going on was an advantage, but weekend live events are generally more exciting to watch. It's a tough call. Overall the current system could be an improvement but right now I dont feel like it is because the events aren't actually working together and trying to tie the narrative together in a cohesive and understandable fashion.

The downside to the current WCS system is that everything seems very sporadic and confusing to keep up with.
