i am AleXusher (BNet-Code: AleXusher#2413) and i would like to ask if there you guys are interessted in a Gold/Plat-League-Tournament. Rules would be simple:
- Gold/Plat-League (T3 to T1, last best-league-season-finish Platinum or below, so if you were diamond last season, you should not be participating (smurf prevention))
- Maximum of 16 Player in total
- Single Elimination
- BO3 until Semis
- BO5 from Semis
- BO5 Semifinals and BO5 or BO7 Finals depending on the players
choice, if both can't come to a conclusion it will be BO7
- The race you choose to play with, you have to stick with the whole tournament. So if you pick Terran you play Terran, if
you play Random you pla Random throughout the whole tournament etc.
But how does it work?
You sign up at Challonge ( http://challonge.com/yav5lgdg ), link as well at the end of the post. If we manage to get enough Player together(all from Gold T3 to Platinum T1, last League was at maximum Platinum-League to prevent smurfing) we will start the Tournament. 16 is maximum, 8 works as well, but it would be good to get the grid full So gogogo and sign up!
Veto Process and Maps
The starting map will be shown on Challogne but i might post it into the Group as well.
- After the first game, the winner vetoes one map out of the remaining maps
- The loser then picks his/her desired map out of the remaing ones apart from the ones already played on
- In a bo5, there is no preassigned map, and both players veto one map each, starting with the upper player in the
brackets. The upper player then picks the first map.
Ok, but what do i need to do?
After you signed up you go into SC2 and join the Group: "Tiger's Tournaments" - just search for it, and you should find it, if not, post here i will help you get there. This is rly important, because in this group you will find your opponent most likely. Note, this group exists on EU Server, where the games will be played as well!
When will the games be played?
The Tournament will start Sunday the 18th September at 3pm CEST, that would most likely be 9am EST if i am not mistaken.
Will there be a stream?
Yes. I will stream all the games, but don't worry, you don't have to wait until the next game is rdy in order to play. So you all play the tournament on Sunday the 18th September at 3pm CEST, while i will host and help you with any questions (veto process etc.).
After that you send me the replays at AleXusher_92@web.de of the games played.
!!Important!!
Pls name those replays like this: "Player1 vs Player2 - Game1" instead of Player1 and Player2 obviously you type in the player that did play that game. It is enough if one of you send me the replays.
But when will be the stream then?
The Stream of the games will be on 2 days. The RO16 will be casted at Saturday 24th September 3pm CEST/9pm EST and the rest (RO8 to the finals) will be on 25th September 3pm CEST/9pm EST!
If you miss the stream, or simply can't stick the whole time, that is no problem at all! The VOD will be available on my YT-Channel!
Is this all?
Nope! :D
The winner of this tournament recieves, if he/she likes to, 1 hour coaching from me (Master T1 on EU). All you need is SC2 and possibly Skype or TS. The winner also can choose, if he/she wants the lesson to be recorded and uploaded on my YT-Channel, so he/she can watch it over and over again, but it then would be public, so your voice will be on the internet then, possibly forever! *plays dramatic sound*
If there is anything i missed, make sure to tell me what it is, i will check here every day.
