So I wake up, see that this will be on later and think "fuck, why do I have classes today". I check my schedule out of habit and see there, all the morning classes are gone and I'm free until 3pm. So lucky .
So since this is all-kill, it will be ByuN's tournament to lose, can't wait to see him put on a show.

Byuns eating a snack and laughing.
Wait that does sound like it adds up. Wrong kinda drug to force someone to do work though.

I watched 5 years of Brood War when all we got was youtube videos dubbed over the original KR broadcast. I love me some KR only casting. If there's an EN one I usually feel like I should watch it in EN, but theres never the level of excitement.

Oh hey he's putting in eye drops. The plot thickens.
It says HTML 5 player "on". I think it's been that way for a while. I just watched streams 2 hours ago on my tablet btw, where it also no longer works now.
Tried Chrome, FireFox, my Kindle Fire HD and also Icognito mode to check if it's the cache. Chrome says "Media resource not supported"

DRGLing can't stand up to the pressure after losing half his shit to a failed drop; caves to a split push in his main and natural. Many queens died to bring you this report.

I'm just happy to be watching a Korean team league again! I've discovered I kind of like not understanding the commentary, you end up watching the minimap/production tab and game a lot more closely and hence don't rely on the casters spoon feeding you info. I also like the sick Korean hype yelling during engagements! Love it.

Getting twitch partnership isn't as quick as snapping your fingers, and who knows about the rights to broadcast? If this is successful we will probably see an EN cast.

Let's see if it's successful enough to get a 2nd edition.
After a messy and halfhearted basetrade/backstab Ryung loses 51 SCVs making it 60 probes to 27 SCVs. The power of MEGA MULING has to be enough for Ryung now.
When behind Dark Shrine. But also when ahead Dark Shrine.
Make Dark Shrines Super says as DTs sneak into the natural and third of Ryung, and after a celebratory a move Super the all kill is stopped in its tracks and Super wins.
Super counters TRUEs ineffective economic harassment with an adept all in. Adepts again prove to be the key weakness to everything and with super micro, Super reverses the all kill and ties it 2-2.
The fact that Dark can't make the ex-SKT team over fucking MYUNGSIK makes me believe the SKT guys actually hate Dark for the reasons outlined in this post

He almost lost to Forte. So no. But mech is really strong on Gettysburg and Solar didn't look like he knew what to do.
Forte isn't bad, you can lose to everyone in TvT. The fact that he beat a decent zerg (and no, mech can't so strong that you beat easily superior opponents, since even TY lost to Nerchio on that map) on such a hard TvZ map, plus that he helped ByuN practice for Blizzcon, and that he casually trashed the ladder (okay it's KR ladder it's kinda weak atm but still), gives me some hope for him in the upcoming GSL even though the patch looks super random/shitty.

I don't think Forte would get close to winning a tournament game against TY, Maru or ByuN. At least he wouldn't counter everything they do blindly and get huge early game leads.
INno beat Solar multiple times in Shoutcraft already, even with bio on Apotheosis, I dunno why No Toss bothered letting him try, really. Inno's TvZ was never bad.

Innovation's TvZ and TvT has been strong this year in general. Its his TvP that has been lacking.
I didn't watch the beginning of the game, did Forte really blind counter INno? That's amazing haha, but INno will have a very hard time if he keeps streaming when there'll be individual tourneys if he plays it like he streams it.

He essentially knew what to do at the start every step of the way. He caught Inno's hellions and reapers, he killed a lot of workers in the natural, a banshee came in when there was no scan available and Inno's drops didn't hit the mark at all (he had the chance to kill stim but didn't take it).
Honestly it's ridiculous Inno won that game after such a god awful start.
That's all that is needed for a sc2 match, since the analysis can be done by yourself, but the hyping screams can only be done by the casters. As long as they do it at the right time, it's perfect not to understand what they say!
I will try to do a bit earlier yeah, on the same days as the matches.
I'm sorry but I am not hired to do this I simply asked to be able to cast it for you guys so no I'm not gonna ruin my work schedule to cast at 3am Maybe I'll do next match at noon PDT?
I think Keens survived long enough to break even. If some harass does a little better than expected or one fight goes a little worse for Dream it'll be dead even.
Edit: Dream striking first makes it really bad for Keen

They will. The lib AA nerf is a big change. You don't need to nerf ultras to convince Zergs not to rush to hive. You just have to make it so mutalisks don't get shut down so hard.
On November 13 2016 15:28 Charoisaur wrote: did he expect that to work?
I've been seeing this on ladder lately. It's exciting and fun to play against but it's basically PvZ played like TvZ. You just drop and harass him to DEATH and if he fucks up he loses a base of drones. But if he doesn't fuck up you look pretty silly.

He was on SKT because he's good. He is known to be BM on ladder though.
soO's like a new man. After losing TvZs for months on end he suddenly knows how to play the match-up, wins Olimoleague over Gumiho and Ryung, and beats ByuN.

Gumiho, Ryung and Byun aren't as good as TaeJa though.

Granted. But back then he was also losing to that scrub Maru, so he's noticeably improved.

yeah his splits are really lacking sometimes. definitely not Maru/Dream level.

His splits arent the best because he isnt doing it. He spines banes or load army into medis and start new engagement. Overall it was very good game, Solar was on point with harrasment.
Team No Toss desperately hoping Armani needs a day off at the finals so they can field Dark and Solar doesn't have to beat the SKT remnants by himself.

And you're telling me Dasan Station wasn't good enough?
Why send Armani on Galactic Process rather than Forte or Dream. I don't get it.
edit: 2-rax reaper always seems like such a bad build, and this game is no exception. All the weaknesses of 1-rax reaper and 3-rax reaper and none of the strengths.
That game was amazing. If Armani got 3-3 Cracklings, I think the end result would have been way different. Why don't Zerg players upgrade to 3-3 Cracklings when they play this style?

He had a commanding lead for like 45 seconds after that one engage and that's really about it.

The transition is really expensive, and zerg needs every unit they can get for this style. I don't think Armani even had a hive. When Dark plays he sometimes never gets the level 3 upgrades even when he is on hive tech.

Because you need hive and he probably wouldn't have been able to hold on.

Pretty sure he didn't get one. Saw him get the infestation pretty late into it. Had heaps of gas but never enough minerals to go for it.

Nah he was ahead even after he lost the next few engagements. INno ended up outlasting and outplaying him though.

No it really wasn't even close. You need to be significantly ahead in army supply when trying to end the game sticking on 2-2 ling bling the entire game. Inno denied way too many bases for the Zerg to have anything close to a commanding lead.
On November 20 2016 11:59 CosmicSpiral wrote: I don't quite understand what the point of that build was. All that tech to snipe a base is not worthwhile unless it's executed perfectly.
I don't think the build is that good either, but I think it could work as long as he plays more defensive with his forces at the front.
Myungsik could have won outright if only his composition was more well rounded than only adepts. Now instead we'll have to watch Myungsik torture Dream for ten minutes.
edit: Watching those SCVs die was quite enjoyable actually. gj Myungsik.
