Heck no
Cool, I'll have no problem watching and supporting this (and potential future events) then.

Sweet that's awesome to hear! TBH, we hadn't heard of Polygon for like 3 months after our team formed, then Blizzard put them on the launch screen. I guess there truly is nothing new under the sun <3
To be honest, I think Scarlett has an advantage going into this. Neeb is a very established-meta player, capitalizing on figured out knowledge of numbers to keep his play alive. Scarlett, on the other hand, is an artist, crafting works of beauty from unfinished forms. In this #CrazyPatch, I think that gives the Queen of Blades an edge.
I personally think scarlett will take it. She can preform better on the go, where as neeb needs some time with the patch to get his groove. Best of luck to em both.
Neeb ties the series using the same triple nexus into stargate strat. Will Scarlett figure out how to defeat mass carriers OR find a way to kill Neeb in the early or mid game? I think this series could go the full distance.... :D
Not sure what Zerg is supposed to do against that late game army. Neeb was even playing with 200+ ping to Korea and just a-moved and won. I don't think he lost a single unit. Interceptors have the same HP as a hydra but cost 5 minerals instead of 100/50. I guess we're back to the HotS "don't let them get there" except Toss can rush out carriers at the 7 minute mark off 3 bases and there's nothing Zerg can do to pressure aside from all-in and pray.

I have heard people say that, and in general you're right, but even a lot of pros are talking about how carriers are too strong for the stage of the game where they're available.

But the thing is, they weren't changed all that much from before the patch. They lost their release interceptors ability, and they make interceptors for 5 minerals. In the long run, that's nice for the Protoss, but it doesn't substantially change their availability. Before the patch, carriers were available at around the same time. The main reason why people go mass carriers is because the late mid game hydras are very strong.
However, I suppose it is possible that carriers were op before the patch but just weren't used to the same degree because they had other options.

Anything is possible It's hard to pinpoint such things but so accurately. All I know is...
