The FSL continues with Season 3. The registration process starts today and ends at the end of March. If you would like to join the FSL please consult the Rulebook and the registration form on the Contact page.
Since the FSL has grown quite a bit this season will feature two different divisions for the first time:
The Athena League
The Bellona League
There will also be tournaments, showmatches and fun events alongside the season again. The FSL will again be broadcast every Tuesday and Wednesday at 19:00 GMT (+00:00)
English stream: https://twitch.tv/judeau_tv OR http://afreeca.tv/fsltv French stream: https://www.twitch.tv/sinosc2 OR https://www.twitch.tv/mraptor
The FSL is not only a competetive league but also a female Starcraft 2 community. So, even if you're not interested in playing in season mode and/or tournaments, you might still consider joining to meet other players of your kind who share the same passion.
FSL Season 3 is sponsored by Honybot & OFU Gaming

Suno is gone and with it, the possibility of breaking new speed records? Disappointing.
So is it gonna be something like tuesday : athena league and then bellona on wednesdays?
|
It has not been decided how I am going to cast both divisions, yet, but it's probably going to be one league on Tuesdays and the other one on Wednesdays, but maybe a mix of both on both days. I will decide once registration has ended and I will definitely know how many matches I will have to cast each week.
Suno still has time until Friday to sign-up. So, don't give up hope ;-)

Due to health issues I am forced to delay the start of FSL season 3 until April 19th. Players may sign-up until April 14th. I'm sorry.

Man, this is so rude and unfair to women! why do women need separate league, like they are disabled or what?

Pretty awesome to see Azylis competing as Random, is Miyako playing Terran for this one? I noticed in the vods she played Protoss but is now listed as Terran
|
Miyako's main race is Terran. She off-raced as Protoss last season and will return to Terran this season. If you'd like to see VODs of her Terran gameplay, you'll have to watch some of her matches from Season 1 / Season 1 results.

No Canadians
Yet super sweet, you should get in contact with livibee and a few other good, active streamers
|
Tris is Canadian, but she's an off-season player of the FSL. I have of course already contacted all of the well-known SC2 players / streamers (like Maddelisk, Livibee, kaitlyn, aso.) ever since Season 1. Maddelisk would have loved to join but doesn't have enough time. The others have not shown interest in joining. However, with WyScion, Miyako and Kyuubi in Athena League, I dare say that we have players in the roster who are even better than Livi

I don't mean to be rude, but I was wondering the same as this guy, maybe not in the same tone, but he got warned and I don't see any answer. Can please someone elaborate the answer to the question he asked? I am speechless at reading this...

I guess for the same reason there are competitions for plat-diamond only, silver-gold only, or whatever. It's not unfair in the sense that they are not forbidden to compete in other competitions (and they do, http://aligulac.com/players/12010-Miyako/results/ Underdogs is not female only, nor is WCS 2016). It actually allows them to directly compete with other female players, which is nice.
For example, if I were diamond, I could not know if I was the best diamond player if I only competed in go4sc2 and such, firstly because it'd be hard / impossible to manually check the results of every other diamond that competed in go4sc2, and our results would be primarily determined by bracket luck instead of skill. The solution (at least the best one even tho it's not perfect) is thus to have plat/diamond only tournaments! It's the same for female players. Thats my guess at least. I hope it answers your question.
