Yeah, should be an easy win for hero. At this point I'm just hoping Impact puts up a fight, cause seeing 4 adept phoenix games in a row would be rather unpleasant.
Games were good honestly, not as one sided as you may think, Impact was just playing better all three games, imho were more high quality than yesterday GSL

2011 form unleashed.
Which means he'll lose every single map in the highest skilled era.

He didn't play that many games this tournament, did he?

People seem to forget that Super Tournament was played with the Adept nerf, so probably not the cause of herO's poor performance today. Most likely just an off day for him.

I knew herO was gonna be the new Sniper. Except that it's "only" a ST (in 2017 it means far less than when Polt won, far less players, less prizepool), and that he is already acknowledged as a good player. But still. 0-3 Impact :D

And he already was a Starleague champion 2 years before the Super Tournament win. And adept/phoenix really isn't comparable to BL/infestor.

And Sniper's bad reputation is massively exaggerated, because he was actually one of the Zergs that relied least on BL/infestor. He was primarily a muta/ling/bane player with great ZvZ.

It's still really powerful and he wouldn't ever win against these three terrans back to back in a balanced era so still. The fact that he got 3-0ed by Impact right after is funnily reminding of such GSL champions tho :x

herO was one of the best Protoss from 2013-2015 and you can't seriously think that Protoss was always favored against Terran over those 3 years.

? No but afaik he didn't beat 3 top form terrans (aLive was top form during GSL ST, so I consider the form, not the reputation of the player overall) back to back previously, did he? Like he could in any given tournament beat one, or maybe two, but beating 3 in the same tournament? However such brackets are rare anyways so it's hard to gauge.
edit: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2017_VSL_Season_1/Team_League Am I right that team GSL champs is Team Zest (ByuN, jjakji, Zest I'm sure they won, and Classic I think he won one too?). Then team JA/SG is team Rogue. Team CJ is team herO and then team Impact.
I will have to think more for these liquidbets because insta liquidbetting hasn't worked out at all with favorites underperforming left and right :/.
Stats will probably not carry, however Patience and Impact are doing well on KR ladder afaik... Still gonna vote for ByuN team because ByuN is in it.
For the other match, team herO have more racial diversity which is HUGE now that protoss got nerfed, however team Rogue have two zergs which seem to do the best in the current patch, especially since Bunny isn't the best TvZer... but Creator with protoss nerfed is probably dead weight. go herO

TY being in top form is pretty questionable, so let's say 2. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2014_KeSPA_Cup This was 2 weeks after Flash won IEM Toronto and a week before Bomber dominated the RB: Washington event, so I'd say they were in pretty decent form. So herO doing well against in-form Terrans is not without precedent. Even though the difference between herO's playstyles in LotV and HotS is night and day.

? It's 3. TY was doing very well, he won IEM, then came widow mine nerf. Post widow mine nerf: 12-8 in SSL, 0-2 VSL, 6-1 GSL ST qualif, 2-2 GSL Qualifiers. So he was at 20W13L in between his IEM win and his match against herO, 10-5 TvT, 2-1 TvZ, and 8-7 TvP. So he was in good form but expectedly his TvP winrate wasn't that good because the widow mine nerf just happened.
