Is this a ZG-Rapid side project or is it basetrade tv related??
I don't think it's basetrade related, ZG and Rapid got hired to cast it.

okok thanks bud,
this is a really nice event though. Always cool to see sponsors throwing some money at sc2 even though its daed!
Yea sorry to the EU folks, this is aimed at NA audiences. We will be running a VOD caster after as well as putting the VOD's on youtube.com/ballistixgaming if that helps at all.

Here's what everyone's chatting about since i accidentally made this thread hit a new page:

I don't get this either. You would imagine that by now more Koreans would know about it - and the payout is quite nice for an online tournament as well.

I'm sure they know it exists, but from what I've heard and seen you basically need to constantly remind players to sign up for your tournament or they just won't for whatever reason. It's pretty ridiculous that Cure and aLive just got seeded into $75.

Maybe time is the issue? It starts quite early in KR and we all know how nerds sleep.

Could be a good move. Maybe some progamers are actually awake at 11 AM Korean time.
Since this jumped to a new page just re-posting this so people see it:

Ah, thats too bad. 2am was my personal limit for staying up watching till 4-4:30.
Well, you guys are great with the vod upload, so I just watch it there.
Keep up the good work, I enjoyed your tournaments so far.
I have uploaded the Week #3-7 Ballistix Brawl VOD's to Youtube. Sorry for the delay, working on hiring someone to manage it so it will be quicker in the future.

Looks like the cycle of Innovation continues: 1. Crush everyone in Korea for a few months. 2. Be declared a Bonjwa/GOAT by the SC2 community. 3. Fall apart just before Blizzcon and finish in the Ro8/Ro16. 4. Repeat process for years.
Updated playoff dates in the 2nd post of this thread. Bracket to come soon, just waiting one something from one player first.
The format will be a standard double elimination bracket. The 2 players with the highest points will be able to select their first round opponent. The other 2 matches will be randomized. Further details to come.
We have confirmed Gumiho picked Jjakji for his 1st round match and he will be seeded in the #1 seed in the bracket (top match on the physical bracket).

Going to depend on how long some of the matches go. We may have to skip just a few (like Losers Rd 1) depending on how it goes. If we do miss any I will make sure we either VODcast it on Youtube or get replays or something.
Maru trying to copy Inno and failing horribly. Wins the double Thor drop game, loses both double Starport games. To be fair, he tried (and failed) to change the build by adding double Ravens+double Medivacs, and then 3rax reaper into mech.
Rogue was significantly behind if he didn't win with that. Rogue just figured he was fucked I guess. Outside of that one crazy game that was pretty disappointing from him today.
