Truly a bonjwa. After the patch, he's gonna wreck all the Protoss in the Ro16 and everyone will scream patchterran. Ok They won't necessarily be wrong either. Maru too, but less patchterran in that respect. Marauder+Viking buffs shifts us back to a more HotS-style and the two best Terrans in HotS were.... Maru's going to lose a TvT in the Ro8, and will curse the patch for making have to worry about terrans in the later rounds of a tournament again. Maru's no slouch in Marine/Tank wars, and with the old Marauder back in business I can't see mech sticking around. He could certainly lose against one of the other top Terrans but I would probably still call him a favorite. Of course everyone's TvT form is kinda a mystery right now so who knows. Some more than others. Maru hasn't played a truly high level Terran since Katowice. At least for GuMiho, Inno etc. you get some idea in online cups on a weekly basis.
Also the marauder buff doesn't mean tanks won't still blow them up good, and the raven nerf hits one of the anti-mech options bio players have.

So what's the excuse for Dark beating "unbeatable" Ghost Raven on Blackpink? Let me guess - Zerg had an "inherent advantage" again? Or does the game not count because Inno didn't play perfectly like every Zerg always does?

Inno played nearly perfectly until it went for lategame imo. He controlled his dorps so well and just lost like 3 marines in the first 8 minutes. Then he had a very good drop into the mainbase. I think that is what you wanted to hear, and what is true :D.
But i think he should have build more vikings vs the broodlords to lure the other units in. But on the other hand, just fungle is the hard counter to ghosts as one could see in the games. But to be honest i think as artosis said, Ino didnt micro that well

Dark INno as expected
Billowy nearly won, good play byu him or "protossing" ?

Okay thanks Elentos. GSL ro32 have become sad

I don't know if juicyjames was here already, because I am watching on VOD and don't wanna read the thread yet, but ...

Well compared to maru his control just sucks there honestly, but that's also a factor, not everyone can control it just right. Dark said in the interview "when terran controls their abilities perfectly zerg cannot win". I wanna see another dark vs maru honestly, i think dark has a better idea now how to approach the lategame stage.

Was hoping for either Ryung or Billowy to advance but the group went exactly as expected, no real suprises.
Dark looked really sloppy against Ryung but managed to recover against Inno which is nice. I'm not sure who could take him out this season other than Stats or Maru

A lot of the time he's only a little bit behind his opponent and loses a close series.
Dark vs soO could go either way I suppose but GSL finals refuse to be mirrors.

Not losing anything as Terran doesn't mean much if you haven't done anything more significant than pushing back creep for the first ten minutes of the game, and did no damage.

He should have 100% won the GSL ST final but threw game 6 hardcore. He also shouldn't have lost twice in a row to Maru's 2 rax.
