These qualifiers should be nuts with all the old faces and foreigners trying out! I'll certainly be refreshing the brackets

There is also HomeStory Cup coming up soon which while not necessarily something a player would plan their professional life around is something that might tip the scales on the decision to just stay in Europe.

Reynor, Neeb, Mamba, NoRegreT, Rex, Demilove, Nice, PtitDrogo, SpeCial, and Scarlett to my knowledge are all in Korea. If I'm not mistaken there's also usually a few Chinese/Taiwanese players in KR too. I think it's a safe bet they'll all try to qualify, if they do they'll probably deal with jetlag for the prestige of playing in both events.

He could have guessed that NoRegreT's lings slowed down his economy significantly, but he had no way of knowing if NoRegreT didn't have like 40 of them waiting on the map to punish him.

I count 11 players I think should make it through on day 2: Creator, Dear, Patience, Trust Bunny, ByuN, KeeN, Ryung ByuL, Losira, Solar That leaves 3 spots for non-Koreans and players who've recently come out of retirement. Possibly more since my list of players is by no means invincible. Based on day 1 performances, Neeb should be the main favorite to join that list.

Omg I hope Taeja makes it. It's not, or at least the top 4 isn't. According to Liquipedia it is, whereas day 1 was double elimination for the whole day. Day 2 Players who failed to qualify on Day 1 can participate again on Day 2 Single-elimination until round of 4, then double elimination Exactly, which basically means single elimination compared to double elimination on day 1. Which sucks.... Well it means you play a single single elimination game before getting into the double elimination portion. Holdover from the old qualifier format which was way worse.

That kid's going places man... I don't follow the non-Korean scene much, but I'm a fan of Reynor. I think he's gonna be absolute top tier given a bit of time. Would love to see him in the GSL. If he sticks with it, I wouldn't be too surprised to see him eventually be the first non-Korean GSL (Code S) winner. I dunno Kev.

(63 in day 1 minus 14) Solar, Dear, and anyone decent should get a bye.

He tweeted that he'd be streaming on Scarlett's stream. That's obviously not happening at the moment.
