Yeah this one is actually super easy with Karax and Vorazun specfically... I tried all morning doing other characters, then first game I queued up as Karax... Boom we beat it ezpz.
Its still shocking how many people can't play even basic static defense Karax effectively though... every one I got matched with managed to get overwhelmed before the first train even arrived... I don't even know how that is possible. You make like 3 cannons, 2 shield batteries, and an energizer, get the range upgrade, and you can hold off practically infinite units... then you just start stacking on as many kaydarin towers as you can, strategically placed to hit both trains where possible, and back them up with an energizer, a few cannons, and a couple batteries. GG.

I feel like it is possible. Vorazun is the only character I don't have maxed, and have just never liked playing so I was trying to basically do Vorazun's role in this as Nova and it seemed possible... but like I said I couldn't get a decent Karax or Swann to give it an honest shot.
With swann, do you protect the chokes backed with a dark pylon (like karax) or do you build on the path of the trains?
As swann + kerrigan, I've had some success for the first few trains building on the paths while kerrigan hunts down rifts. The top path is easier to hold, for sure. This build gets wrecked by immortals, though.
Swann works best with a full wall in, including a few flame turrets, with a dark pylon with full radius mastery in the rear to protect all buildings. The flame turrets pop up to prevent enemies getting close to the pylon, but usually let DT's through. I don't think building on the tracks is viable on the later stages unless Swann's partner is extremely good at hunting down rifts and reanimators.
I tried yesterday with Karax had no success without Vorazun hiding the buildings, they were busted in after some harder spawns. Later I did it just on normal with Stukov, my partner was not so good, I could carry easily with Stukov swarming out to void rifts + summoning the apocalisk (can do 2-3 rifts alone in one summon) + summoning the Alexander when things were hot. Few bunkers + infestation for defense. I think Stukov is also good for this, there is a vid on youtube with Vorazun+Stukov on brutal. I would be happy to do it on hard. I felt Stukov is much much better than Karax, since he can clear rifts quite good while also defending + swarming the trains.
I did some attempts as Stukov as well, and yeah he's pretty good at defending like Karax/Swann while also having the advantage of being able to snipe rifts with apocalisk... BUT the thing that made Stukov ultimately not work IMO was that he can't contribute any DPS to the trains because bunkers don't have enough range to hit them from the top of the ramps. Yes I know you can send out your infested troopers, but they mostly end up fighting the escort units and getting killed off before they hit the train. If you wait till the escorting units are gone before sending out your troopers, then the trains are pretty much already gone.
It might be possile with a good Vorazun, but definitely not with any other hero I think... just because of train dps. And if your partner is Vorazun they can easily handle the rifts and reanimators solo anyway.

I haven't seen many Swann attempts, but I would just line the entire cliff face of the shared main with rocket turrets, backed up by tanks, some missile turrets, and scv's to repair. If you have a Vorazun partner to cloak them, all the better. This is after securing the two ramps of course. Building on the low ground is nice normally, but blizzards make it non-viable here i think, plus there is no reason to do it since the rocket turrets with range upgrade can shoot the trains from the cliffs.
Just did it in a pretty funny way, I was Swann my ally was karax. He went defense and used probes and phoenixes to snipe rifts, I went herc and tanks to kill trains and rift. For the outer rifts I suicided hercs and he killed them with orbital strike^^
Don't know if OP will read this but if you do, please remember that you can unload the bunkers when you play Stukov. That will help tremendously with killing the train.
I feel this mutation is heavily luck-dependent. Vorazun is great against an enemy with mainly ground units and little detection, like terran mech. It's extremely hard to fight against protoss air as Vorazun. For the player that does defense, Karax is better against zerg and terran, while Stukov is great against protoss. So if the enemy turns out to counter your combo, it's better to redo IMO.
