It is said that you are your own worst enemy. Amon has turned that idiom into reality. The harm your allies inflict is dealt back to them in full, and every enemy's death threatens to take several of your own forces with them. Show Amon that no sacrifice is too great to achieve victory.
Map: Chain of Ascension
Mutations:
Double-edged Damage dealt by your units and structures is dealt back to them, but then healed back over time.
Self Destruction Enemy units explode and deal damage to friendly player units upon death.
Mutually Assured Destruction nemy Hybrid units detonate a Nuke upon death.
Do Raven II's take Double Edged damage from their Rail Turrents or Zagara from her Hunter Killers/Banelings, for instance? What about bunkers/infested bunkers and the units inside?
Honestly Stukov is insane for the most recent mutations it seems, infesteds negating all the unit debuff is kinda insane. I wonder if he'll get nerfed.
Doble edged seems like a cool mutation, cant wait to try it out.
My saddest game was that we cleared the whole map of hybrids and bases. But my partner choose not to bring any units to Jinara (maybe he doesn't know). So the last hybrid respawn with one huge army. He left the game and we lost . So close yet so far. LOL
Super easy. You can pretty much play normally as long as you have some kind of healing in your unit comp. I beat it the first time as Raynor going medics vikings and vultures (spider mines do not trigger the mutation damage), then again as Nova (sabatoge mine, tanks mines, and raven turrets do not reflect damage, snipe, nuke, and seeker missile do). Both times had shitty Karax partners... the first guy went only zealots against terran air... The second guy went only cannons and shield batteries. Was still able to win both times, just took a long time. As Nova I had to lose my whole army each time I blew up a hybrid, but since my partner was going pure static defense it just meant I had to wait a while before pushing more.
Abathur is really good for this. He has SHs, queens, and toxic nests, all of which fit this mutation perfectly. SHs don't take damage from their locusts' hits.
The first brutalisk can still clear your expo with a queen's company, you just have to be careful.
Yeah abathurs "life leech" and high HP of Units make him allows him to tank 1 nuke easily from a hybrid. I do think he has big issues in the early game when the bugged 2nd big attack wave comes, so he relies on being carried there.
Zagara is absolutely insane, can almost solo the game with her in this mission.

No Abathur is not screwed for the second bugged wave. You just have to put points into toxic nest maximum charges and dump them at the right moments. If it's an air wave, you should at least kill all the ground with your nests, and if you haven't researched locust air attack by then, your queens and brutalisks should still be fine.
