I'd love to know more what this means for Chillindude but I guess that will be kept secret. It's very fun to see more sponsorships in Melee though

My god I love how this game has recently grown

Of the top players you listed, I think only Leffen doesn't already belong to an organization. But yes, landing one of those players would be good publicity for traditional "e-sports" teams looking to make an entrance into melee.

Awesome pick up! Can't wait to see him in action.

lol nice did not expect this

Chillin is an awesome player, really happy to hear this because I love his style of Fox and he's an important face in the community for his part in the documentary. 2014 Melee hype!

It's good news that the old guard are getting picked up. They're more consistent than youngblood.

Ken and KDJ coming back to the scene... now as great as melee's now in its platinum age, and more teams are picking up SSBM, but i'd be a lot more hyped if there was some kind of "rebirth" of melee. Maybe this news of TL and Curse picking up smashers could grab the attention of Isai, PC Chris, or maybe even Azen. Maybe not play competitively, but at least get them to look into the Smash scene again. Not to forget it'll generate a ton of hype, and make Melee even bigger. Who knows.

Isai is stlll super active with SSB64, is sponsored and streams like weekly; he'll probably never come back to Melee though, because he doesn't enjoy it. Azen has been playing alot (including on stream) with Chillin for a little while now, and supposedly has been playing here and there since the doc at least. PC Chris still shows up to locals and does well, but he doesn't have time to commit to travel or anything—too much work and stuff.
I don't think any of them just completely left Smash behind.

Probably most known for their League of Legends team at the moment. Even thought their LoL team has fairly poor results.
Edit: Fixd link.

Curse is actually a fairly big gaming brand, aren't they? I know they did a bunch of WoW stuff and were relevant in LoL when I was playing that game. I don't think they ever touched SC2 but they're pretty big for their own right.

CT Zero's doing a marathon interviewing people for 24 hours on behalf of the Armada documentary; he just interviewed HBox (well, might keep going for another few minutes)

Wouldn't consider LoL, WoW and CoD good competitive games, so that's probably why I've never heard of them. Well, that's the point of picking them up anyway.

i think this was a good pickup, both are legends in smash.
