Id like to mention a few things about this docu
The first one he did, the one which basically together with evo revived the game we all love, he did and it put him into a lot of debt. Making these things isn't cheap and i feel it as a community we really owe him a big one.
It may look expensive but in reality it's a lot cheaper than you think it is

Donated $25 a week ago
PP and Armada = the best
edit: whoa, my post time displays in my local time zone now
|
This one is supposed to be in theatres and Netflix so it's pretty legit. Dude deserves it anyway.
|
Donated to this because I watched the existing episodes in two days flat--only because I couldn't spare the time to watch them in one. Such a hype series. Love it.
|
I really hope he can make this. The first one was incredible, and I think the story of Armada and PP needs to be told.

20k so far, with only 6k needed to reach the goal in 17 days!
Hope it will reach its goal
|
Stretch goals now, to think that last time, he had to buy his kickstarter out to make it a success.

Well it's far easier to get funding when you've got a proven product.

was there ever really a doubt about this? the quality of the first one pretty much ensured this funding provided he didnt set some insanely large amount. its gonna be 100% guaranteed well done so i can't wait.

It's gonna be interesting for sure

I completely agree with this. Though I feel like 20k is a low budget for something like this given all the traveling and equipment, but I'm definitely not an expert on film making. I can't wait for this to come out .

Agreed, considering Sons of Starcraft got 40k + additional unknown amounts, 26k should be certain given the track record and proven quality by samox.

Is it just me that thinks of Barney Stinson when I see his announcement video lol

I know fuck all about Smash and the game always appealed 0% to me, but I recently watched the smash brothers docu on yt and it was very well made and gave me a bit of knowledge on the players and storyline of the game since 2001. It's as deep as BW was. Everyone should check it out. And why was it never posted in general forum?
PS- recently the stats one evo viewership via twitch came out, the peak was 147k which was during the smash finals. (i think it was only around 100k during sf4)
