what about quality selection for vods? and is jtv to eu fine now?
usually could watch most streams now fine in lower qualities (in some cases it worked fine for 720p too) but it seems still abit inconsistent and there were some issues before.
but vod quality is a kinda big thing. for example i missed the majority of GCPL cause of 5 am live times and the vods while beeing in beatiful quality just needing AGES to load.
overall nice to see that a site is kinda commiting to the game thing and even adds features just to make it easier for us people.

I want to say that the Daily tonight went very very well! Good quality and a very smooth stream on Jtv.
I remember Day9 moving from Livestream to Ustream during the SC2 beta and that was a great choice then. I consider this move a good one as well, just moving on to better things. Justin.tv has some great features and I think Day and his fans (including me) will be very happy with the move!

I personally have had the best viewing experiences with justin.tv and am glad to be able to watch Day9 on the best streaming website ever :D
|
I feel bad for ustream, Day was always a highlight of their day. He's got the Midas touch, now Justin.tv gets to experience it. The only thing I don't like about Justin.tv is the only capitalizing the first letter of the name. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT??!?!?!

Awesome help for Esport but do you mind maybe changing the way IP Bans work? You can't even watch a stream on your website, or atleast I can't. Also no one ever responds to emails:-/

Awesome news! Justin.tv taking over the world!
|
Justin.tv also helped Husky with his banelings parody. )

I remember a couple of weeks ago when I tried to tune in to a justin TV cast, and it kept freezing, even on 240p. I hope they fix their problems in EU, cuz Ustream was awesome for me atleast.

whoaa this is good news! grats to day9

Most from EU dont have this problem. I never had it here in Denmark only a few time did I have to lower it to 480p but worked fine. Well it plays at 480p but when i see that it doesnt even use 1/5 of my bandwidth the issue of 720p not playing is rather bad. Sometimes even 480p lags... Like during Justin TV Invitational #1

yay i can finally watch the dailies live!!!!!!! i could enever watch the quality on ustream cause it was a little better than my internet could handle. but i can now.

If they are so gung ho about Esports, make sure that each foreign country has double the capacity a fair estimate of viewers to be had in that one country.
Otherwise, Sickly awesome go ESPORTS
I don't really understand why people make statements like this. JustinTV removed the cap on gaming streams long ago. The only issues have been that their service to europe isn't as good as everywhere else.

@JTV: It was rumored (by TB e.g.) that JTV was working on fixing the shaky stability in Europe. I know some people have no problem with JTV, ever, in Europe and some can't watch it at all. I have no idea what this relates to (ISPs, computer or JTVs European Servers) but I'd like to hear it from JTV themselves if they are aware of the problem? Is Global Servers a step in addressing this?
Thanks.

I like the changes you've done, I think its really going to benefit broadcasters!

awesome switch and great thing jtv is doing. psyched for it all, thanks guys!
|
Good news to hear that Day9 is taking in all the feedback he gets from us, and glad that he's switching to JTV.

Delay for tournaments is great

justin tv is the worst possible place for me to stream anything
this is caused by my ISP Orange in france i think... its the same for orange users in spain and in the u.k. afaik
i know that this isnt the fault of u guys at justin.Tv but meh i just had to complain :/
