You might want to visit a doctor, honestly. Some minor GI issues can be sparked by certain foods, and most of them will have other adverse effects on health type stuff.

You can bring stuff like nuts with you to work and snack on it throughout the day. That's what I do. Otherwise, I have trouble eating even 2.5k cal per day.

Yeah, you might want to try eliminate suspect foods that may cause that. Eating more than usual shouldn't result in diarrhea as far as I'm aware. First thing off the top of my head could be a dairy allergy, which would really suck because a couple glasses of whole milk is the easiest way to get your calories per meal up to 1500.

Yeah. Food allergy would actually be reasonably lucky though, compared to most of the other potential GI things that can be out there. Like for me with my Crohn's, diarrhea right after I eat is usually one of my early flare-up warning signs.
But yeah, that's usually a sign of some sort of irritation going on, and if that IS the case, an early diagnosis can prevent catastrophic weight loss.

What are you eating?
Also, eating a lot can induce a lot of peristalsis and movement of the stuff in the intestines. So it's normal to have the body to push things through faster after a big meal, though diarrhea every time is a bit weird.

Some new research suggests probiotics work through an anti-inflammatory effect. This is pretty interesting since they are undeniably beneficial for many people who take them, but there's really no convincing evidence that they actually change the makeup of one's gut flora.
That begs the question--how does one alter their gut bacteria? Looks like "fecal transplants" might be the only way. Sounds gross but I think it will be commonplace within the next several years.

I used to have this alot, nearly every night I would have diarrhea after dinner. It got really frustrating as you might expect. Turns out there's some substance in Ice Tea ( the soda ) and Fanta and Cola and you name it, that can cause diarrhea. And I drank alot of soda. Completely eliminated soda from my diet and I haven't had diarrhea since. Just throwing it out there as a possibility.

Only have it with soda, not with any other product that contains fructose in any percentage. And certain additives in soda are known to cause diarrhea, so I'm assuming it's those.

I think you can alter composition of flora with what you eat, or at least the quality of the flora in your gut if not the composition

Most recent occurrence, I had eaten a huge quantity of fried rice and baked salmon. I think it's happened before with fast food, too; In 'N Out 3x3 + double + fries + shake...something like that, lol. I guess I could pay more attention to what I've eaten when this happens, but no food in particular really bothers my system, as far as I can tell. It's just when I eat large amounts.
Thanks for the input, folks, even though I'm now slightly paranoid about Crohn's

Don't be. If you had Crohn's and were aggravating it consistently without diagnosis and treatment, your weight would be dropping faster than Bronzies against Code S players.
When I got diagnosed, I lost 10 pounds a week for a month straight.

Wow, I didn't know this was all hear on TL. Thanks a bunch. I've been really on and off about my fitness. Approximately I am at the point many know as the "Last 10lbs". My issue is the lack of structure in my exercise and especially diet. Thanks a bunch.
TL is so amazing ♥♥♥
EDIT: I was wondering if anybody knew anything about Energy Drinks. Besides the obvious caffeine addition, does anyone know about if it has huge effects on losing weight or gaining muscle?
Currently I occasionally drink Zero Calorie Monster, but I also drink at least 9-12 cups of water throughout the day.

I know it has all sorts of potential for major health issues associated with it in large quantities? The regular has a pisston of calories, HFCS, caffeine, and so on. I recently cut back from a bunch of monsters a day to just one, along with fixing my diet and starting proper exercise, and despite having my Crohn's flared, I'm actually gaining weight finally, with better overall energy, less headaches, and probably a healthier heart rate.
I think, like any caffeine, it's not horrible in moderation. Just don't drink enough to screw your body chemistry or fuck up your heart rate.

I usually drink the Absolute Zero, which has no calories. And I usually have only 3 or 4 a month. I've just been hearing some crazy things about energy drinks that had me worried. But I guess with moderation and plenty of water I'll be fine.
Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, AFAIK, treat it like several sodas and you should be ok. Certainly in that kind of moderation, unless it has some ingredient that makes people spontaneously combust, you shouldn't have any significant effect from it. It's more in the multiple daily range you need to worry.

Caffeine itself is pretty good though, makes you burn more fat and stuff like that. Also, you build up a resistance to caffeine in just a couple of days so that you dont feel "speeded" by it.
Have no idea why the hell they started putting HFCS in soda's nowadays, since that stuff is way unhealthier than plain white sugar (no HFCS in Sweden though)

In moderation, caffeine is ok. It can make it harder to stay hydrated. I know when I drink too much caffeine daily, I feel a bit shitty, and get into a cycle of continuing to drink too much daily, because it's the only thing keeping me awake.
Of course, it's probably not good for my Crohn's anyways, so cutting way back was probably a good idea for me. On the plus side, my bean pole size uniform finally got in, so I won't be the asshole wearing running shorts and a t-shirt in the back of my TKD class anymore.
Oh, and back to caffeine, and HFCS, I'd guess HFCS got popular the same way trans fats did. Stupid people interfering based on really stupid studies.
