haha i know, but it actually is quite good practice for picking apart a flawed argument (something i'm fond of doing).

Keep on eating the bacon & eggs and speeding up the process of atherosclerosis I'll continue to eat green vegetables & fruits and keep my cholesterol low and keep my good cholesterol high and bad cholesterol low and maintain a disease free body.
The SAD diet and Paleo diet are similar because both are based around a high cholesterol, high protein, high saturated, dead meat eating diet.
Look at all of the paleo authors out there and how fat they are like Robb Wolfe.
Why don't you go tell the American Heart Association that eating bacon & eggs is good foer you and that saturated fat is good for your heart along with high cholesterol.
I'm sure that it would make for a good laugh .
Eating dead meat & supporting slaughter farms is bad karma.

Well according to you the bacon and eggs are good for your heart. If you believe deep down inside that, thats whats good for you and best for the planet and animals than eat up.
You have to follow your own heart.
If you think that putting oils, saturated fats, and cholesterol into your blood stream is good for you than eat up!
I don't have any arguments. I only present facts, the facts are that the American Heart Association recommends a diet low in saturated fats, cholesterol, & sodium as scientific research has shown that diets low in those three things and high in whole grains, fruits, vegetables & nuts lower your risk drastically for heart disease and certain types of cancers and degenerative diseases.
Personally I can't eat eggs or bacon, after eating it the saturated fat is poured into my blood stream and I can feel my heart rate go up and it makes me feel like shit but to each their own.
I feel light and energetic after eating a nice & full of life green salad with super foods such as raw blueberries & cantaloupe.
Eating a diet filled with foods that are garbage for you (in my opinion and many others opinion but not in your opinion or eschows) like bacon & egg's with sausage and oil makes me feel like shit and makes my blood work garbage as well.
Last time that I talked to a DR they recommended cutting out as much meat as possible and some DR's that are nutrionalists have recommended eliminating meat completely.
All of that meat & oil is high in sodium, saturated fats, and cholesterol, all of which the Heart Associations and research has shown to cause CVD and different types of cancers.

It's a real shame that a lot of these paleo "gurus" have been dropping like flies though from heart attacks but I guess thats the price that you pay Karma wise when you think that eating a cheese omelet & bacon grease for breakfast is good for you and than try to go for a run with all of that mucus running through your blood stream. i've never heard anything about people on paleo diets dying from heart attacks. do you have a source? secondly, if you're on the paleo diet, you're not supposed to eat cheese. thirdly, the diet that many of us on this forum believe is healthy isn't even true paleo. about the mucus in bloodstream (wat?) after eating saturated fats and cholesterol - again, please review your biochemistry. i think you're confusing a lot of different diets. you seem to think that i eat like the average american. please let me explain: average american - processed food, lots of refined carbs and sugas, meats and dairy and carbs (all processed) paleo - no processed foods, no grains, no refined carbs and sugars, vegetables, fruits, nuts, meats, eggs me - same as paleo except i do eat certain types of grains. It is a useless debate, you keep on posting biased information and you know that meat is just dead fruits & veggies. wat? please review your biochem in this area as well. Also studies done over a year are useless.......try 60 years. Guess what? There are no diets that have been forced for over 60 years besides the SAD which is the closest diet to the paleo diet and look at the evidence for heart disease in the USA only? the studies are taken for what they are. of course a 60 year trial would be better. on the other hand, you haven't provided ANY. also, please see above for how the standard american diet is different from the paleo diet. Do you honestly believe that all of that heart disease and cancer does not come from eating more cholesterol than we already have and eating tons of saturated fats and dead cooked animals deprived of nearly all nutrition??? i don't think you understand how cholesterol works. please review the material that eshlow has kindly written up, or refer to a textbook. What I'm trying to say is that I don't need to waste my time looking up articles like you when it's all common sense and the evidence is all around you. common sense is not good enough. evidence is what we need, and eshlow has given it. you haven't. if it's all around us, then please show it to me. Look at all of the fat paleo authors out there and the Americans dropping dead from heart attacks that are on a meat based diet. for the 8th time, the paleo diet and the SAD are completely different. also, please show me some stats on heart attacks in people on the paleo diet. Not to mention, I also said that I would rather eat vegetables & fruits all of my life even if it meant that I died 10 years earlier due to the moral issues which trumps all of your cherry picked articles which most are short term articles done under a year or show average life expectancy's out of meat eaters and go against the recommendations of the Heart Associations. we're discussing what's healthier, not what's more "ethical." this is going into an area that's not intended for this forum. also, i've done more good for the world than you have. If you want to believe that eating dead cooked bacon & eggs is more healthy than fresh fruit & spinach that are both full of life, vitamins, anti oxidants, cholesterol free, lower your cholesterol value, and are full of enzymes than go against your common sense I could care less. yes, i'll believe that because there's evidence that supports it. btw no one is saying that bacon and eggs are healthier than fruit and spinach. we're actually saying that eating both are healthy. you should probably understand the diet before attempting to form an opinion on it. also, again on cholesterol. you clearly don't know how cholesterol works. please read up on it before making comments. Your body already produces enough cholesterol anyways what the hell is dead cooked meat going to give me that veggies, fruits, nuts, (any plant based foods), is not going to give me besides protein that has been shown to be hard on the kidneys and on your cholesterol levels anyways? i don't think you read the studies eshlow provided... Meat eaters are deprived of B12 as well a long with vitamin D3 both which are easily supplemented........ no one said we only ate meat. LOL no disrespect but if you think that eggs and bacon are healthy you need to wake up. Also, if you think that the supporting of slaughterfarms is okay than your idea is so skewed to the point where I actually feel bad for you. All of your posts could be summed up by "look back into biology" or w/e. Which actually leads to the same point that I have been making that saturated fat and cholesterol is bad for you.....so you're basically proving my point for me by telling people to look back into the biology/chemistry books. All the best :D i thought you loved me. if you did, you wouldn't tell me to keep eating eggs and bacon. also, you already felt bad for me a couple posts ago. i think you're starting to become quite flustered at the fact that your arguments are flawed and have no credibility, and you're faltering on your good will to spread the love. you can't tell me you wish me the best, and then at the same time tell me to keep eating dead animals because that's not the best for me. I feel light and energetic after eating a nice & full of life green salad with super foods such as raw blueberries & cantaloupe. if there are two different "facts" presented, why do you choose one over the other? you believe the AHA but not the researchers that put out studies saying different things.

The AHA and many other world wide health associations are out there to stop world epidemics such as the #1 killer CVD.
Most researchers doing independent research are biased and are abusing science and leveraging it to their side to make a point.
Of course someone following a paleo diet that is conducting research is only going to show the good research or even lie to make a point.
The AHA doesn't have any sketchy agendas and made it's guidelines for the health of everyone unless you're a conspiracy theorist and think that what they're saying is bullshit and would rather believe in small studies done by independent researchers.

This guy is so high on his idea of leading a spiritual life and having better morale that there are absolutely no point in arguing. Kinda feel bad to have considered we'd be likely minded. Should have kept my first opinion. Too much talk often hides emptiness. Good news is I learned along the way ! So thank you PhotoGrapher. Now if you could stop repeating yourself to the point of annoyance I'd be super grateful.

Continue to put the dead animals, mucus, chemicals, adrenaline, and acid into your body if you want to disregard your health just like the other millions of Americans are that are on a high saturated fat & cholesterol meat eating/dairy diet. chemicals? er, have you ever taken biology? also, my diet is totally different from the average american's. there's no comparison. and dairy products are not part of my regular diet. Believe what you want to believe in but don't expect much of a response out of me when your post shows that you're going to continue to believe in random posters and articles online vs what all of the Heart Associations are saying and you try to make it sound like picking a piece of fruit is worse than killing an animal. see response above about what i believe in. also, i've never said that picking fruit is worse than killing animals. and in terms of health, you need both for a balanced, healthy diet. You can go back to eating your bacon and cheese omelets and thinking that saturated fat, cholesterol, eating meat, and supporting slaughterer farms is a good thing. again, i don't think cheese is healthy for me. bacon is great and so are eggs. if you think saturated fat and cholesterol are inherently bad for you, then you need to review your biochemistry. supporting slaughter houses is neither a good thing nor a bad thing. it's how the economy works. besides, this is the nutrition forum. if you want to discuss morality, this isn't the place for it. here, we discuss whether food is healthy or not. I feel light and energetic after eating a nice & full of life green salad with super foods such as raw blueberries & cantaloupe. if there are two different "facts" presented, why do you choose one over the other? you believe the AHA but not the researchers that put out studies saying different things. 100% speculation. also, today, i ate twice as much meat as i usually do because i was reading your posts.
Have fun with the cholest.
It's your body, your choice.

Now if you could stop repeating yourself to the point of annoyance I'd be super grateful.
I never said that I had better morale than anyone.
Keep your opinions I coul care less.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has them.
I could care less about your opinion or anyone else's opinion of me....after all this is the internet.
I hope that you have some common sense and enough logic no to follow these quacks ideas that cholesterol and saturated fat is good for you. If you believe them than I think that you should take a critical thinking class or buy books on the subject.
The incidence of heart disease and obesity is at it's highest.
Whens the last time that you saw a fat vegan?
Also, whens the last time that you heard a DR or nutritionist tell someone that they had CVD because they did not eat enough saturated fats or cholesterol & sodium (meat)?
Fat Paleo authors? Look up just about any paleo book and the author more than likely is fat. Take a look at Rob Wolf for example.
Follow the diet of people that you look up to, not some fatass that claims that eating bacon and eggs is good for you and labels his lifestyle "Paleo" just so that he can continue eating in his old ways.
People don't want to hear the truth and would rather be led by sheep that tell them what they want to hear which is why the Atkins and Paleo diet are so successful.
If you follow the Paleo diet I'd understand, it's your health in the end though not mines.
Good day.

You seem to have a misconception of what paleo is. It is about eating non processed foods( ex. vegetables and fruits), not just eating meat. But its weird that I find that the more meat I eat, the leaner I get.

Comparing the state of mind picking fruits and vegitables (they get paid to do it and would be broke otherwise) to the state of mind that goes into seeing animals being butchered is laughable..... people get paid to work in slaughter houses too. also, people who work there do it because it's worth the money. they have a choice whether to work there or not. and they chose to do it, which means working there is better than any other choice they had (otherwise they wouldn't have chosen it). therefore, that job of working in the slaughter house has made that person better off. Do you think that people wake up in their sleep in a sweat because they picked an innocent fruit off of the ground??? i dunno, do they? i get pretty emotional when i think of it. i don't see how this is an argument. A new study recently published suggests that a diet containing a moderate amount of protein-rich food such as beef, fish, pork, chicken, dairy or nuts may help slow the deterioration of elderly people's muscles. Reducing the decline in muscle mass among the elderly is crucial to maintaining their health and independence, these researchers say. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/08/070808132005.htm :D

You cherry picked that photo, there are photos of him online with a gut.
Bottom line is that my diet is better than yours go look at The China Study, cooked meat is acidic and damaging.
You support slaughter farms and must not love animals.

Post your photographic proof please. All of us want to see it.
Post your interventional studies please. All of us want to see it.
Until you post any type of proof of your claims no one will believe anything you have to say.
Like I said, post some proof or go away.
