Also grats on your PRs Luxae! Guessing front raises gone wild. EDIT: HOLY FUCK 10KG DEADLIFT PR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was gonna do 160x5 but it looked heavy as shit, so I figured I'd do 170 for a single. After single I was really thirsty for a big PR though, so I just went apeshit and did 5 reps with 170 in total. Bodyweight is 86kg though, FUUUUUUUUUU. Oh You're still playing catch up to me? I do 170kg x 5, at 76kg BW . but props on the pr ;D I'm like seven feet taller than you :D 1.96 represent. Holy shit. You've got 13cm on me. Dimsum did you hit a set of five jerks at 110 or five si gles why aren't you on MSN anymore? I neel halpz . get online.
Lol haven't set up my computer at school yet, still waiting on Internet. Just using phone til then.

Today: Squat 1x3 87.5, 107.5, 127.5, 1x1 147.5, 1-1F 167.5kg PR BP 1x3 57.5, 67.5, 1x1 82.5, 95, 1x1F 107.5kg, 2x2 100kg Pull ups 3x4 +20kg
Very disappointing workout. PRed the squat, but couldn't even get a second single, the PR attempt on the PR was a complete failure, didn't get more then a few cm off my chest before it dropped back down.
I'm not sure if I should retry on Sunday, go easy on Sunday or go easy for the entire next week.

Thanks, funkie.
After talking to a friend - I'm probably going to switch things a bit and start doing 5x2 for the Squat and BP on Sundays. I'm thinking of starting off with 152.5-155kg for the Squat and maybe 97.5-100kg for the BP. Hopefully the weekend will give me some good recovery time and the workout will go much smoother.

I love it. I seriously love this.
Everytime you're feeling most down, it's the time that life's teaches you a fucking lesson and tells you, that the day you want to back down, is the day you gotta push harder.
Congratulations.
On behalf of all of the TL Health and Fitness Initiative and Movement, I congratufuckinglate you.

Snatched up to 130 only one miss at 115. Went for 134 missed it a few times. Cj at 90 110 120 130 135 140 147 and then crushed two cleans at 156 but missed both jerks. So no pr :-( but I putup a 277 total which is what I need next Saturday to qualify for the open. I seriously couldn't be cj more than 140 on Tuesday, then drank all Wednesday and Thursday then almost PR. I don't get it lol. Taking it easy for the next eight days though. I got a couple bids ill put up later.

Today I wake up at 7:15 am, too late to start sleeping again (had to get up at 8:45), so only slept like 6.5 hours. So I sipped some coffee in, played an hour of poker, and then headed to class. In philosophy I studied for my test at 19:45 (class has mandatory attendance -_-), and then hit the gym feeling like shit.
Result:
FS: 115kgx3x10 (PR) OHP: 70x1x14, 72.5kgx1 (PR)
Read a bunch of articles on the OHP, now that I narrowed my grip a bit and started using lats/biceps for push I'm a lot stronger. I think I'll just go for the bodyweight press on monday (77.5kg) I'm sure I can do it, no need to wait for thursday.
Also spent the rest of the day studying and crushed the fucking test.

Finally back to bodyweight deadlift @.@ (110lb)
Sort of a big benchmark. Is sort of depressing that I've creamed my original lifts from when I was not recovering. I look much smaller yet am stronger, just no hypertrophy evidently. I surprised the crap out of myself.

Do you have links to any of those articles GoTuNk? Wouldn't mind reading them myself.

What? If I wake up 5 minutes before my alarm I go back to sleep.

did you just not try for more on your single OHP, or were you just so tired from the 70x14? If you can do 70x14, I wouldn't be surprised if you can do something b/w 80 and 90 for singles, with ease.

Went in this morning before my rugby scrimmage. Hit a 125 Snatch and 145 cj pretty easily, those will probably be my openers next weekend. Hopefully I can open a 130 Snatch. My goal is to qualify with a higher Snatch than cj :-D

Pretty sure he did 14 singles, not a set of 14

My Deadlift and Squat are pretty weak at the moment (running/cycling 7times a week and a 3month break from those exercises, who could have predicted...), but not everything is bad. Did Dips +20kg 3x5 and Chins +7,5kg 4x3 today (108kg bw), both basically PRs. So things move in the right direction. Probably could do Chins +10kg for a triple if I really tried. For BW-Chins I am at 7-6-6. I won't fully commit to weighted chins until I manage 8-8-8, which is quite a pain in the ass. I guess when I reach 105kg bw I should be able to do that.
