I'll will do those things once my civil service is over (in 3 months), but till then always remember: On resting in between reps: It varies with the length of the set. 5s or fewer get a breath to reset. Longer sets might take 2 breaths. During the last few reps of a true 20RM squat, just do what Jesus tells you. -Mark Rippetoe
I love coming to this thread. Finding gold like this that makes you laugh is the cream.
edit: lady told me to point my toes less out and stand with my feet closer together. I started lowbar which is why my stance is pretty wide and outward I guess, but it always did feel a little off with highbar.
I used to have this problem. While you reset, make sure to focus on pushing them out, every single rep. You'll strengthen your external rotators, get a better engagement in your glutes, and balance out your quads, and eventually it'll become second nature. Once you get back to the weight you're currentlyat it won't even be a consideration, and your knees will definitely thank you!
yeah you dont have to change your stance or toes to improve that. try working it with your usual form before messing with anything else. the next fit-looking person who comes along in 6 months time could tell you the opposite and then what you gonna do :|
So I play seven a side rugby on saturday, played like 10 mins in 2 games (3 mins and a half time) and almost died, but played fairly well on those lol. Got my legs ridicously sunt burnt, they are still red now.

Today: Squat 1x3 60, 90, 105, 3x3 120kg - Easy enough. Press 1x5 40, 50, 1x2 60, 2-3PR 70kg, 1x3 65, 1x4 60kg - 1x3 70kg is what I had listed as my goal by 09/08/2013 in this thread back in august , so I'll need to think of a new one to work towards! EZ-bar curls 3x5 bar+37.5kg Barbell Shrugs 1x5 60, 100, 125, 1x3 145, 165, 1x1F 185kg, 1x5 165kg - Not using chalk makes me grip incredibly crappy apparently. I found a rock climber's store near my folk's house that sells liquid chalk, so I'll probably drive there on Friday.
rofl -smashes high bar squat way below parallel...looks like he could go for a double -ez bench -almost thought he was going to do a clean pull with the 417 lolz
Wow misha benches with a narrow grip. Those lifts looked super easy. I still can't believe a guy like Kutcher Oleksandr can be so close (985kg) in total only weighting 75kg. Does IPF gear really give that much or is Kutcher just beyond crazy-strong?
that 417 looked DAMN easy. Wow. Actually they all looked like he could've done more.
@GoTunk you're a better man than I. I can't stand 7's - all the little backs running around in circles with their fancy passes, 3 man scrums and not a maul to be seen? Nope.

back squat 5x100, 5x110, 5x120, 5x125, 5x120, 5x110, 5x100 kg

Day2:
Bodyweight: 99,4kg (never ceases to amaze me how this changes 2kg within two days for no good reason)
Squat: 155kg = 1,56 x bodyweight Overhead Press (dead stop from the clavicles): 73,5kg = 0,74 x bodyweight Pendlay Row: 92,5kg = 0,93 x bodyweight (haven't done those much this year) Bench Press (paused at the bottom): 110kg = 1,11 x bodyweight (maybe benched 3x the last six months, so that is fine)
PR total of 135 + 155 yesterday. Real close on a PR 139 Snatch and got under 160 clean a few times. I'll put up Vids later. All I did for the five days previous was celebrate my graduation... I don't understand my body.
Worked up to 125/147 today. Anyone here from Northern Virginia? Need to find a place to lift while I'm at my parents for break.

Haha sounds like someone needs to work on their finesse... It's called a game of elegant violence for a reason :-P
It's a school tradition, a very cool one indeed; basically every class makes a team. There are some imba teams, 2009 generation (that means they left school on 2009, I'm 2008) its so good it isn't even funny, they have like 2 teams of sevens, and 4-5 guys imba good. 5 Chilean national team rugby players, and a couple training for the 2016 olympic team.
My class got 7th-8th, and the difference between or team and any of top4 is abysmall. We actually played the team that got 4th, and we lost 37-0. Top 2 are ridic good, and finals score was like 44-14 or smth. (2009 vs 2004). It's been the same final since the first version (4 years now), 2004 won first two (26 age vs 18-19), but they just got rolled every year when the "kids" catched up in body size.
Also its getting quite competitive (all men school lol) and some guy got a tibia exposed fracture, At least 4 guys left on ambulance as well. (Don't think I'm good at rugby or sevens, cause I'm not, I can only lift weights now :p)
