no, Bergkamp is the all time best lob shot master
Yea but he didnt get to do it as much as Messi does, so on volume alone I'd have to give it to Messi.
His first touch was better though or atleast just as good.
lol what are you talking about, volume? Bergkamp did this all day every day since his debut. To each his own I guess

Ive seen every one of his goals like 10 times in the last 2-3 years.
Hes my favourite dutch player ever. He doesnt have as many as you think.
Well if united manages to fuck up this group...it will be most disappointing then. Group D looks a lot like group of death (dortmund, ajax, city and madrid), hope we'll see good matches and that dortmund will advance through.

And Schalke has Kyriakos Papadopoulos, you will be beaten by your own weapons ^_^

We're far and away the favourites though. Granted, we need to start scoring soon, but our defence is looking really good. I guess I could end up having to eat my words, but I see us getting at least 12 points, and advancing as group winner.
Second place is up for grabs. Not sure about how Montpellier is doing without Giroud, but I think people are counting them out a bit quick. Have no clue about Olympiakos. Shalke is good, so I suppose I'll hold them as my prediction for the number 2 spot.

and you know that how? please explain to me this sudden clairvoyance because i would also like to know in before who will flunk out of group stage.
it's no clairvoyance since dortmund doesn't have much experience in international football since they got knocked out last cl season brutally out of a kinda easy group. i know, maybe they have learned from that, but they don't have ANY (ANY!) chance against real madrid and manchester city. trust me. and to be honest, i guess they're happy about their group. so they don't have to concentrate on cl that much and can fully prepare for the bundesliga.

Wow ... just wow! You must be really pissed that Dortmund won the last two bundesliga seasons in a row plus the double last year, huh? Let's just wait and see. As a Dortmund-fan I'm ... well ... not very amused, but you got to have some faith! Pretty stoked about the games to come! I just hope we don't play City or Real first so Götze gets fit and can play with Reus and Lewandowski together.

i really don't know what this has to do with my expectations about yellow-black in the upcoming cl season, but i truly expected that kind of answer.
TBH, doesn't look like a very interesting group phase. Only Groups D and G seem relatively even, most other groups have one or two clear favourites to advance. Predictions below
Group A - Porto , Dynamo Kyiv , PSG , Dinamo Zagreb - group looks weak unless PSG gets their team working very quickly
Group B - Arsenal , Schalke ,Olympiacos, Montepelier - another group where only a single team has reasonable chances to advance beyond ro8 (Arsenal), and only if they do really well
Group C - Milan , Zenit , Anderlecht , Malaga - two favourites to advance in here, though Zenit hasn't looked too sharp lately
Group D - Real Madrid , Man City, Ajax, Dortmund - stacked group, sure, but still two clear favourites - Ajax and BVB sadly aren't on the level (both in player quality and finances) to challenge Real and City. Still, probably the group most likely to have an upset.
Group E - Chelsea , Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus,Nordsjælland - Juventus and Chelsea enter this group as clear favourites, but Donetsk could easily pull an upset against either of those
Group F - Bayern , Valencia, OSC Lille, Bate - Bayern will probably ace this group, should be a really easy draw for them. If Valencia plays their best, they should easily advance, too.
Group G - Barcelona , Benfica , Spartak Moscow , Celtic - Really can't predict the second team to advance beside Barca, maybe the closest group of them all.
Group H - Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj - United got a good draw again, but look where it got them last year. The second team to advance will probably be eliminated in the Ro16.

well they have international players who played for their countries this summer so that counts. core of the team hasn't really changed (except kagawa) and they all played last year in CL. not having any chance is a bit exaggerating. Look at Dinamo Z last year, they managed to hold only 1-0 real at their home field and dortmund is far more better team than them. Besides, your argument about having/wanting to concentrate only on domestic competitions can be applied to real and city. it all depends on how it'll go in their home league. i know mourinho wants to win CL this year, but my guess is that he'd rather give up that than spanish league. And also, just look at last years flops and surprises. United and city were heavy flops while Apoel Nycosia (i think that was them, correct me if i'm wrong) achieved what no one else believed that could happen.

I raise your quote with a quote

Now, explain to me which facts led you to the conclusion Borussia won't stand a chance against any of them? All of your expectations are based on performances of the last season, right? So you have to consider some changes within the mindest of the team. The Champions League isn't considered a field trip anymore. We play to win.
I don't see Dortmund advancing tbh. The defense has been hilariously crappy the last weeks, Real and City will take them apart if Dortmund doesn't bring its absolute A game ( which they have not shown for a while). On the other hand Götze, Reus and Lewandowsky are a hell of a sexy triangle so i hope they will all be fit and give Shitty and Real a good game.
