DC will be put in his place again the moment jones comes back and he won't ever have another opportunity to mouth off like that again. he can play the humble guy act all he wants but moment the cameras are on him, this veil of nice guy sheds off.
despite how jon jones looks, at least he knew where he stood when it came to the mentality of a fighter. jon jones's post interview when he beat DC was actually hilarious, "reporter: jones do you feel bad now that it's over? Jones replies: No i don't feel bad at all that he's sitting there crying. had he won he'd be sitting right over there mouthing off saying whatever the fuck he wanted" and there DC goes proving him right. he needs his ass beat again to permanently make him humble.
I lost alot more respect for Johnson who came in with lackluster Cardio and gave up.. and as far as Cormier's shit talk goes that is exactly what uncle dana wants. Cormier is already selling tickets for the rematch. But Johnson hit him with his hardest shot Cormier was still there and Johnson lost his will gave up his back and let a man choke him
And i also feel like i should respond to your crying comment 90% of top athletes cry when they lose a championship in any sport with so much emotional investment with no return a release is neccessary. hell 70% of them cry when they win too, when you put your everything into something the result is usually emotional especially in sport where these guys have dedicated their lives to winning titles

This is the same for normal people too. If you invest alot in an uncertainty, you tend to get emo.
i don't care what they do after the contest.. cry .. don't cry.. say hi to their moms... whatever... it doesn't matter. if they put on a great show during the fight/game/event ... that is all that matters. DC gave me my money's worth in victory and defeat.
Meh, not sure how you can really bash on DC considering Bader basically accused him of ducking their fight for the title shot, plus he needs someone to defend against while JJ gets his legal shit taken care of. He knows that just a fight with Bader isn't going to sell much, but put some animosity behind it, real or fake, and you'll draw more interest for an otherwise uninteresting fight. I thought he said a lot of good stuff in the post fight presser, to be honest:o
The McDessi Timeout call was glorious His jaw must be fucked with all those strikes. He's going to be eating through a straw for months. I love the octagon heat map too.
The Arlovski fight actually reminded me of a lot of his fights, the difference being the right brown landed wasn't enough to fully change the tide. Arlovski did just enough damage to take just enough off that punch to not get KO'd.
Still watching (went camping/shooting for the weekend) but this has been a great card so far.
EDIT: lol great card. I failed on my analysis but I got the prefight pick right. "Never give up" right after tapping out lol. DC took some serious shots that would of KO'd plenty of fighters and DC ate em up.

I've only seen this on a yahoo article so I'm taking it with a pound of salt. Guess we will know more in the coming days if this is true. I don't expect a slap on the wrist this time given what's happened. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/legal-analyst-says-jon-jones-could-face-three-221901798--mma.html
This is the worst kind of injury possible.. to a pregnant woman who is still 4 months away from giving birth. if there is anything wrong with that baby Jones is fucked.
Had they not suspended him. Jones would've been fielding questions during fight week like
"Mr. Jones, should the baby be born with brain damage do you feel responsible" "Mr. Jones, how long was it before you returned to pick up the money in your rented car" and best of all. "Jon , u r very near your home... why are you driving in a car rented by your wife? u own 5+ cars of your own."
Also, the woman is receiving medical attention for her injuries. Jones paying her bills is an admission of guilt. So is Jones paying her bills or not? what level of health insurance does this woman have?
this is just a giant clusterfuck whose outcome is months and maybe even a full year away from resolution.
Your weird posts are the reason I've stopped posting in this thread as often.
it would appear Conor Mcgregor is asking these very questions. As Conor states it is a weird situation .. and it gives rise to the weird questions i listed. " It's just a weird situation. But I wish him well. I hope he gets his head together and comes back."
That's hilarious and sad at the same time. They are getting a raise but they still couldn't afford to get premium seating to their own show lol.
What's this about?
Sorry meant to quote the tweet but was just saying it's still not enough to cover a pair of the priciest tickets to 189. The video was good. @22:00 ish totally made me think of drag racing.

Sucks I guess, but money. How much are the priciest tickets each?

$5,499 plus tax and handling each. To be fair though, it covers an 'experience' but I don't think you can sit there without paying for the whole shebang.
At that pay though they are fighting for a little over minimum wage if they fight 2x a year. If they get hurt from the fight and only fight once they'll make less than minimum wage from the UFC for a year.
I guess the bottom line is if you want to make money go to WWE where the minimum is closer to 50k and people aren't trying to actually hurt you.
