Did anyone saw the Mexican finals ? sure its not that big but oh god that ending
Pachuca won the first game 1-0 (at home) and Monterrey were winning the second leg 1-0 and Pachuca were 1 man down because Mosquera stopped a play that could end up in the 2-0.
Minute 93, LAST MINUTE then extra time, and a cross out of nowhere and Guzman with a header scores the equalizer and GG, Pachuca won the league
The stadium was roaring for Monterrey and in 1 second... silence.
im still in disbelief lol

Ah a good story out of lower league England is AFC Wimbledon getting promoted to the third teir to join the team that was stolen from them a decade or so ago.
Dems gona be some tense derby matches.

Wimbledon was 10 points behind 3rd place Ackrington, this system is a disgrace.

I'm not in favour of these kinds of matches either, we have way too many of them in the Eredivisie. On the other hand, Wimbledon vs MK dons in the same league is a great story, what football fan doesn't love that.

Especially when you go back to the 90s and remember Vinnie Jones' Wimbledon, oh boy!

More importantly Wimbledon and MK Dons are now back in the same division. AFC showing everyone how it can be done starting from nothing.
edit: Right, you already figured that out

Well i really couldnt care less about league 2 but if i was an Ackrington fan i would feel robbed as my 10 point advantage didnt translate into anything at all. Well again tho who gives 2 fucks about league 2.

That's kind of what the playoff's are about. Anyone can win if you're in the game. There must be an element of momentum. Think how disappointed Brighton where that they didn't make automatic promotion. That's got to hurt club moral.
Also League 2 is the most important League there is. Oh R We are Exeter!

I can only think of Griezmann who will have a chance to win a big trophy this summer (not sure Uruguay can win this Copa America). Iniesta if Spain wins maybe.
In Real Madrid I'd say Modric, Navas or Marcelo. Giving it to Ronaldo would be ridiculous.
Or are we going to get a super start of the season with tons of goals from Messi/CR, giving them the Ballon d'Or? You know, because before before February matter so much...

German team for the european championship just got nominated. Biggest surprise for me is that Reus is out (because he is injured AGAIN). Poor guy can't catch a break. Other then that not too many surprises. Bellarabi (injured as well as being just bad lately), Brandt and Rudy are out as well. The teams feels a little weak considering guys like Podolski, Kimmich and Schweinsteiger (who is still injured) are still in. Gotta see where all this goes.

You know they are going to give it to Messi or CR tho, I was just saying Suárez should win.

NOOO Reus..... Rudy and Bellarabi no surprise. Would have rather seen Kimmich gone than Brandt but whatever.. So we still got a few injured (Schweini, Hummels), 2 bad goalies and a bunch of kids.... oh my Just hoping for Gomez to deliver and the Bayern and Dortmund players to be on their best. Don't got too much hope in Schürrle, Poldi and Schweini
Where is the EM subsection by the way??

It would be funny if it wasn't all so sad.
I don't think I've ever been so pessimistic about a sporting team's off season. Germany is going to disappoint and BVB is a sinking ship.

There is a rumour about Monchi going to Manchester United this summer. Monchi has been the Director of football? of Sevilla in the last 15 years. He is the most famous director of Spain because he has got alone more than 300 millions of profit with Sevilla (I think that only Oporto surpasses it, maybe Benfica too). And at the same time, Sevilla has got 5 Europa Leagues with his transfers.
He is going to switch team for sure because he resigned yesterday. And there are a lot of teams interested.
