Dillashaw fight was pretty dam great too (didn't watch the Joanna fight but ya they all delivered). edit: Dana says GSP vs Whittaker next (not shocking seeing as they were showing him all night). IDK that's a tough matchup for GSP

All three belts changing on one card. Just insanity. Congratulations to GSP on the great win. I think it was Gadelha who almost also slept Joanna. She doesn't seem to have the greatest chin.

IDK that's a tough matchup for GSP That is a super tough matchup for gsp. I was actually expecting gsp vs mcgreggor for all thr money in the world. The reason woodley isnt getting the fight is he super dangerous and boring as hell. Win or lose gsp brings tons of eye balls last thing you want is a casual fan watching woodley put all the fans to sleep then claim they boo him cause of his skin color. Agreed on awesome card. There was great fights right from the begining. Dana must be pumped im sure tgis was one of the most watched ppvs of the year and it delivered on every level.

Fight of the Night bonus winners are in exciting fights. maybe "he super dangerous" is not what you meant to say.

This is because he has taken counter striking to the extreem and takes 0 risks. If you have had the displeasure of watching his fights, some which have been stopages. I think most would agree. you intended to make a basic grammar error so that no one can say for certain what you mean. LOL. Woodley's fights are a mixed bag. his UFC 205, he won fight of the night. his 1 minute and 2 minute KOs are as exciting as any quick KO fight UFC holds. "boring as hell" .. nah. as i said earlier his fights are a mixed bag. Gate of $6.1 million and Dana said it did a lot more than 1 million PPV buys.

My bad i assumed you were asking a question not being an ass. Funny that you point out grammer errors when you and your various other accounts you post on can figure out how to start sentences with capital letters. You can keep watching Woodley fights but you will be in the minority and Dana wont be giving him a cash cow fight like GSP. Guess i should ignore your ignorant ass on every thread. I get you read articles on the ufc but after reading a bunch of your posts its clear you barely watch. Perhaps you should stick to WWE.

if Woodley fought through a torn labrum against Maia then i can't really say its Woodley's fault they had a boring fight. 2 reasons. 1) Maia was also unwilling to mix it up. 2) its hard to throw punches with a torn labrum. its hard to do any kind of throwing motion with a torn labrum. if Woodley fights again soon he is probably exaggerating his shoulder injury and one can dismiss his rationale for his most recent style of fighting against Maia. If Woodley is out over a year then he was probably telling the truth about having a torn labrum. an overhand right is just the kind punch that can fuck up your shoulder. If he has an Andrew Luck style torn labrum he may have trouble throwing KO power punches with that right arm the rest of his career. Woodley's career might be in peril right now. time will tell.

A fans perspective of a fun fight is when they're standing there just alternating hitting each other in the head, that they are bloodied, look like they're on the verge of death, they keep alternating who is on the verge of getting knocked out until one does. Then he said that as a fighter this doesn't make sense, you want to minimize damage, that's what a masterful display of MMA is. So even from how he talks, it goes to show he doesn't care about what his fans think of his fights, he's in it to win, get a long win streak going, etc. I think GSP was much like that in his career, except more humble, but same thing, people only thought it was okay after he defended his belt numerous times. Maybe once Woodley has 6-8 title defenses, people will start looking at him differently. I personally would be a decent fan of him if it wasn't for him bringing up racism the way he does.

But GSP always mixed up his game. I don't think he had a fight where he didn't at least punish the guy with ground and pound. He may have rode them for 5 rounds if they didn't have the wrestling to keep up with him but he was active not just backing up the whole fight. Even fitch did more in fights. And GSP most boring fights were ones he dominated. Woodley's super boring fights he is eeking out super close decisions. But like you say if he gets up into record breaking territory maybe. But DJ has, and has been a much more exciting fighter than woodley and people don't care about him. At least hardcore fans love DJ I'm not sure where Woodley will get his fan base with a unexciting style and he's pretty whiney in interviews which really doesn't endear him with fans.
