I didn't catch it live, but I just watched it, and damn wow, amazing fight. Two brawlers going at it is just such a treat, they really need to up the bonuses for PPV events. If I was the UFC, I'd feel bad giving them only $50k each extra for a performance like that, having taken so much punishment. Curious to see where the division goes. So many big names in light weight, Conor really needs to fight Tony asap or gtfo. Poirier vs Gaethje, Eddie Alvarez vs Winner of Khabib/Barboza, McGregor vs Ferguson, Diaz/Iaquinta vs Loser of Khabib/Barboza, Vick vs Chiesa, and feed Dariush someone like Duffy or Trinaldo. Far and away the most exciting division for me personally.

And GSP is going to fight Whittaker next, per his contract. Georges St-Pierre tells @Kara_Wagland: "I'm not sure if I compete that I will go back to 185. I don't think so" Well who would have guessed. He was cherry picking Bisping but he is smart enough to know that he got nothing on the topdogs at MW. I'm not even sure he wants to fight Woodley. They prob try to spin some "Super Fight" with Conor. Champion vs Champion so lets meet at the middle at 170. We are in the money fight era of MMA.

there is nothing a lying WWE or combat sports exec hates more than Dave Meltzer. UFC 220 main event is set... Ngannou v. Miocic https://www.mmafighting.com/2017/12/6/16744036/stipe-miocic-slated-to-defend-heavyweight-title-against-francis-ngannou-at-ufc-220

https://www.mmafighting.com/2017/12/13/16774484/tyron-woodley-says-hes-getting-shoulder-surgery-after-all we have some "experts" in here who like to provide an opinion on guys without all the info. Now that all the info is in i'll comment on Woodley's last fight. its pretty amazing Woodley could survive a fight with Maia while fighting with a torn labrum. I suspect the Woodley fight would've been more exciting if his shoulder were not torn. they are not cutting him wide open. they will only use an arthroscope so that should speed Woodley's recovery. by "speed" i mean he can come back in less than 1 year. the most extensive type of labrum repair requires 1 year of recovery. Andrew Luck is going through that process right now after trying to avoid surgery.
