And no one wants to fight him for the exact opposite everyone wanted to fight bisbing. Woodley is boring, not a draw, and verry difficult to beat.

But who is there really at Welterweight ? He cleaned the division pretty much, at least of the kind of bigger names. So let them duke it out and build their names if he needs the surgery sooner or later anyway and then fight who is left. It will probably be Wonderboy though and nobody wants to see a 3rd one really. Would have loved to see Wonderboy vs Till. Dream matchup at least on paper, but appearently Wonderboy turned it down. The fighter have too much power these days it is sad.

I get you don't understand the economy of fighting at all, but if you bother to even read the articles you post you will see that woodley opt'd for the surgery after none of the people who he wanted to fight wanted to fight him. He says that not me. As I have started to say on the NBA thread, but you never bother to do, critically think about what you post, hell even just reading the articles you post would be an improvement. "I’m going to go ahead and get this shoulder repaired," Woodley told TMZ on Wednesday. "I've been saying, 'You know what, I don't want to get it cut on, I don't want to get it repaired.' But if there’s no fight that really makes a ton of sense for me to take the risk, to not be 100 percent with my shoulder, then I’m going to go ahead and have it repaired." Woodley confirmed that he still wants a fight with St-Pierre, though the Montreal native has not reciprocated the interest. "I wanna fight Georges, man. I offered to go up and fight him at middleweight ... (he) faked some backside injury, now he vacating the belt," said Woodley.

When you do the math for $120 mil/year from Fox, and the have around 25 fight nights per year, so that's a bit under 5 million per event that UFC gets. Then the gates are like $600k, and for not-PPV, that's their main source of revenue. I guess you can add Fight pass subscriber numbers, which would be around 3mil per month, or say 3 events per month, so 1 million, but I don't think that's very fair to add, but anyway. Not sure how much those bud light commercials and whatnot are worth, as well as the merchandise, but I think it's quite minor regardless. So roughly 6.5mil revenue per event in the better case scenario, and UFC pays it's fighters in the ballpark of 20-25% of revenue. So that's around 1.5mil for fighter salaries per event. With bonuses most fight night events pay out 1-1.2 million I think, and the way the fighters talk about the importance of bonuses, I don't think there is much unreported stuff that they're getting.

He's absolutely terrifying, the punches he was throwing in the first round were insane. So many were missing, but wow, so much power and speed... The technique just isn't perfect yet, but he'll get there I think. Out of all UFC fighters, I think I'd be the most scared to meet an angry Perry in a dark alley. I wonder where this puts Emmett, he misses weight but wins, hmm. I'd like to see him fight someone like Dooho Choi or Stephens.

Maybe another co maim event of a free card. He also cant get bonus for missing so good bye 50k. Ngannou my pick for dude i dont want to meet in any alley ever. Or mark hunt, i feel like you could hit him with a shovel and hed shake it off.

I think I could out run either, so they don't concern me in the same way. Perry seems like the guy that would knock me out before I even registered what is happening. And also his personality is nuts, I love the guy. And yeah, we'll see, he seems nice enough, I honestly didn't know too much about him prior to today.

GSP has the look, he also is extremely likeable and won lots of bog fights to become the draw he is. Woodley is boring, hes unlikeable but unwilling to play the bad guy, hes chasing money fights which most fans dont think he deserves based on his performances. Yes two people who also are not draws called him out, hoping to knock him off and become draws them self. But woodley is not interested because he knows they are not a draw and either is he. And he is unwilling to fight the style/or amount that it takes to be one. Instead he whines about people dodging him (while he dodges others) and race and what ever else he can whine about. I get you love him and think hes great, by all means buy the ppv he headlines. You will be in the minority.
