The Kings are known for their slanderous ways of painting players once they leave the org. And I've never been sold on Boogie as "toxic" or "cancerous" since from the little I know about him he's never carried himself as a diva or bigger than the team. He has a temper and that's as much as he should be guilty for. This imaginary line of players that "hated" playing with him is just that - bullshit. I'd sooner believe it's one or two guys who made a comment and that's being used as fuel to make it out like plenty of people dislike him.

He's getting physically abused everytime. Excited how he'll fit right next to AD

Guess what? He made the switch to 4, no problem. He developed his shots behind the arc, no problem. He improved his face up game, again behind the arc, no problem. Improved his dribbling, no problem. Improved his passing, no problem. Boogie is among the top 5 most versatile players in the league right now and Kings are a dumb enough organization to trade him away just like the time when they didn't match 8 million a year of their restricted free agent Isaiah Thomas. NO will tear this league into a new one with Cousins and Casspi and Kings will continue being miserable as always.

Most of the US based sports media does not watch the Raptors games. Ross was almost useless once the Lowry+Bench scheme was cracked by the opposition. The article quoted sounds like a bunch of guys who don't actually watch Ross play. Here is some commentary from some guys who actually , you know, watch the actual games Ross plays in. "We’re talking about Terrence Ross here – the Andrea Bargnani of the Masai Ujiri era." http://www.raptorsrepublic.com/2015/12/02/terrence-ross-has-not-scored-31-points-since-signing-his-31-million-contract/ Ross is only interesting to boxscore watchers. He is a below average small forward as a starter and a streaky scorer. He is a slightly above average bench player. Norm Powell instantly moved higher up on the depth chart after he played about 300 minutes with the Raptors. For $10 million a year... that is not a good contract. When one of these "experts" outlines detail-for-detail the disintegration of the Lowry+Bench lineup and why and how it happened i'll listen to what they have to say. If they're going to play with boxscore #s i can do that myself just by heading to basketball reference dot com. The other 2 articles saying T Ross is on a good conttract were the first two I found. Here I'll spend 5 mins and find one by beat writers for the raps who watch every game . These guys probably even notice when top player miss games unlike you super insider. 10.5 million per year for a young 6-7th man is a good contract with today's cap number as pointed out in every article you read by people who understand the cap. http://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/leaving-toronto-last-thing-terrence-ross-wanted/ Of course, the Raptors floundered early in the New Year—winning just four times in a 14-game stretch between Jan. 18 and Feb. 12—and slipped to fourth place in the Eastern Conference. A change was needed, and the three-year, $33-million extension Ross signed last season made him particularly attractive trade bait. A few days after expressing his desire to play out his career in Toronto, Ross was sent to Orlando along with a first-round pick. http://www.si.com/nba/2017/02/14/serge-ibaka-trade-raptors-magic-terrence-ross Orlando’s attack still needs significantly more work, but Ross represents a step in the right direction and he arrives on a reasonable contract ($10 million this season and $10.5 million in each of the next two seasons). He can shift between either wing spot, as lineup combinations require, and he can function with or without the ball. I hope some more big trades happen. With the Raps picking up Ibaka, Was playing great the last few months, if the Celts add butler this will be the first time in like 7 years that there will be some question about who is coming out of the east.

Kobe was never bad for the Lakers, when he got his stupid massive contract it was a plus for them, it stopped them from giving that money to mediocre vets (on longer deals). If you show me a move that the Lakers could have made if Kobe was on a $1 million/year deal that would have got them to 55 wins, I might rethink this, but IMO they were a bad team with or without that, so better to be bad & paying Kobe than bad & paying Greg Monroe & Rudy Gay.

But yeah when you go for it hard over and over your gonna shit the bed for a while. Edit: Here is the article if you want details, I don't even think it mentions the mozgov signing YIPES http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2693926-magic-johnson-will-have-a-damning-case-against-jim-buss-and-mitch-kupchak

nice move by the Lakers and Magic. my thoughts on Williams are already on here. if you can get a 1st rounder for him you are doing good. He has 1 more year on his deal at $7Million. No idea who has his bird rights. On February 22 2017 11:24 Scarecrow wrote: Failing to land boogie seems like it was the nail in the coffin. - @jimmyc Ya that Kevin Ding hit-piece was savage yesterday. Incredible timing too, which can't be a coincidence to someone that dialed in. His sources are very high in the Jeannie camp from what I have gathered. -ASG is in LA next season. Larry Nance turned down this year's event citing his injury. It actually makes sense, and he might be the only Laker in an event. -Pelinka is a surprisingly strong hire, and a better idea than I could have expected from them. He is the main reason I will have hope in this new FO. I would still like them to poach another valued executive from another team in the offseason though. -Magic says he is into analytics, then immediately mentions PER like he just memorized what it means a day ago. oh boy...(even Hollinger a few weeks ago: + Show Spoiler + -@jimmyj Ya I think it was good for both teams. Lou was the best player on the Lakers this season, by far. Both teams came out ahead, the Lakers mainly by tanking this season. Lou was single-handedly keeping us and winning us some games this season, it had to stop. -I think Lou will fit in nicely with D'Antoni offense. His game is predicated on taking those shots that MDA likes. He is also deadly drifting and shooting to his left, and is the king of the 2-for-1. If for some reason it doesn't work out, HOU can still flip him before next year's deadline. -@jimmyj Pretty sure HOU will have his bird rights next year at the end of his 3-yr contract. Don't take that to the bank though. -Still can't believe Vlade said that out loud yesterday to reporters. EDIT(2/22)- Ding said he was actually surprised by the quick hook on Jim and Mitch. So he is not as looped in as I thought he was. He has always tiptoed that laker troll/clickbait line for me so he still goes above that for now. Still one of the top 5 or so trusted non-team sources for the team that knew the firing wouldn't last till season's end.

Lou Williams was somewhere between very bad and below average for the Raptors in the playoffs the 1 year he played with them. His defense was below average and his shooting was lousy. He was a pretty good play maker when given the chance.
