I think they are gonna try to be patient and build through the young guys. If a good deal comes up then great, but they are going to try to let them grow under Luke from their indications. They have soured a little bit on D'Angelo, but more from behind-the-scenes stuff it seems and not from his inconsistent play, which is expected at his young age.
It would seem their favorite player is Brandon Ingram and might be the only clear-cut "untouchable". For me personally, I only think DAR and Ingram should be on that "untouchable" list, but apparently I am higher on DAR than a lot of fans. Randle and Clarkson would/should have been packaged for Cousins but I am guessing the Kings didn't want that? IDK, nothing can be gauged by the decision-making of the Kings tbh. The Lakers supposedly offered DAR and Randle, which would hurt me more than losing Clarkson and Randle.

Lou was the best player on the Lakers this season, by far. Both teams came out ahead, the Lakers mainly by tanking this season. Lou was single-handedly keeping us and winning us some games this season, it had to stop. -I think Lou will fit in nicely with D'Antoni offense. His game is predicated on taking those shots that MDA likes. He is also deadly drifting and shooting to his left, and is the king of the 2-for-1. If for some reason it doesn't work out, HOU can still flip him before next year's deadline.
-@jimmyj Pretty sure HOU will have his bird rights next year at the end of his 3-yr contract. Don't take that to the bank though.
-Still can't believe Vlade said that out loud yesterday to reporters. Lou Williams was somewhere between very bad and below average for the Raptors in the playoffs the 1 year he played with them. His defense was below average and his shooting was lousy. He was a pretty good play maker when given the chance.
Ya I agree JimmyJ, his value diminishes in the playoffs compared to the reg. season because of his defense. But he is in his prime right now, and has shown effort this season on that end at least (don't know about prior seasons, spec since he was so young coming into the league--he played with A.I. for goodness sake). If he can't get it now, then ya he won't ever. I think he'll do alright though, and is helped by being a good fit with what HOU will try to do to opponents.

Yea, I think the Lakers did decently with the Lou Williams trade. First, he will never be useful to the Lakers because he will be out of his prime by the time they need a good bench player. Second, he is bad for development of young players, because he does things decently well that you want your young players to be trying to do (shooting, cutting, etc). Third, I think a late first (from a playoff team like the Raps, Wiz, Houston, etc) is what he is worth. And Fourth, they got a good guy in Brewer who wont shit in the bucket.

If the kings really thought the package they got was better the DAR and randle, oh my.

Lou Williams trade is great for the Rockets. Brewer is by all accounts a great team mate, but he didn't fit their system with his inability to shoot, and he has fallen off as a transition scorer and defender. End of the first round draft picks are more likely to be out of the league or end of the bench by the end of their first contract than to be impact rotation players even close to the ability of Williams, and the Rockets actually cut salary in the deal.

New Jersey trying to rebuild.

decent move for the wiz... ~~
if trey burke was better, the 2nd unit would not be so bad right now...
oubre (ok), smith (passable), mahinmi (good if he gets more games/minutes under his belt to recover), bojan (good)

Bets on if another major trade happens today? Like George or butler? I'm hoping for another block buster but I'm betting lots of little deals

Noel Traded to the Mavs for Bogut, Justin Anderson and a 1st. Guess Bogut will get bought out and sign with a contender.

Couple more Deals
Hibbert to Denver for a protected second (in other words please take hibbert)
And bulls trade Taj Gibson Doug (McBuckets) McDermott and 2 to OKC for Cameron Payne Joffery Lauvergne and Anthony Morrow.
and KJ mcdaniels to the Nets for houstons second (protected top 55.)

wow the Lakers got Tyler Ennis. the self proclaimed best scorer in the NBA. i guess the aftermath of trade deadline day offers an epilogue: who picks up the bought out guys?

Colangelo is dumb as fuck. Noel is a monster.

Tucker goes to the raptors for 2 seconds this deal completely makes sense for the raptors as he can D up two positions on the wing which was a weak spot especially after trading TRoss.
That being said maybe its a false report based on our "raptors insider" saying that raps were only making one move to make lowry happy. It seams odd to give up 2 seconds a first and Tross for help right now if the goal is not to win right now... but what do I know?

That would be a good deal for Toronto. They are loading up for the playoffs. Boston...smh :/
