What a day for football: 1) Rodgers out for the season 2) Falcons blowing a 17 lead against MIAMI (Especially salty about this cause I started them as my DEF) 3) NYG showing the fuck up against Broncos.
Really super sad about Rodgers though. It was a conflicting moment for me cause I'm a Vikings fan. So many big names going off to injuries. NFL definitely hurting right now--but it also gives a chance for new players to shine.
The nfl is fine its just reaching peak saturation and popularity in its market while its main distribution platform is entering a state of disruption. The usfl will be much less well off if it was restarted and it was never well off when it was a thing. Hes probably just pissed he couldn't buy a team while a mobster like zimmerman was able to.
Falcons are taking the next step. Any team can blow a lead to Brady. It takes a true choke artist to blow a lead to a team that couldn't get anything done on offense in previous weeks.

Do you a article about a nfl owner who is a mobster. That would make a hood read, and tv show!

Lol,Yes Don't know why everyone is sleeping on them. Did everybody forgot Goff was the overall #1 pick and how much the Rams had to give up to get him. He could easily turn out to better than Wentz or Prescott. Plus they have a easy road to winning their division.
Jamarcus russel was a first overall, was gave up tons for rg3. That doesnt make some one good.
Now they might be and goff might keep deveoping but he has slowed down the last two games. I think the rams are best when their d with super star aaron donald are wrecling face and their o is ball control clock eating mode.

To be fair, RG3 had a better rookie season than Luck did. I think people wrote off Golf as a bust because of Fisher starting Keenum.

The more I read up on Moos, the more I like the hire. It was quick. but everyone he has worked with says he's the best and that he turns entire ADs around. I'm looking forward to who he brings in at the end of the year to replace Riley. Depending on the hire, it could help recruiting or keep the kids who have committed, from de-committing.
the power ranking standard deviations have been pretty good this week. Everyone knows the Chiefs and Eagles are prob pretty good. After that who knows how to rank like 3-10
I guess they're fairly confident up to #4 with the Steelers and Patriots there atm. Falcons have a power rank stdev of 4.5 right now across the major sites lol. Ranked as high as 5 and as low as 19
cardinals st dev over 5 (high 9, low 25)
bills, dolphins, raiders, and bengals also stdev over 4
just watched game 7 of the 1985 NLCS. The St. Louis Cardinals didn't come out for the national anthem or the introductions as part of some bizarre superstition.
Ronald Reagan made no comment. Basically, nobody cared.
Yes, the media is a big reason that Kaep is unemployed. If they ignored him, no one would care, and then no one would have reasons to not sign him.
Instead the media (who are unpopular and untrusted) decided Kaep was California-Jesus and a genius political advocate. This gives everyone an opportunity to be on the opposite side, because you will always win a fight against the media when you have the flag on your side.
he should not have worn those "pig socks" after he decided to criticize the police. if you are going to criticize the police or a political figure you have to do so in a polite and precise way. Otherwise, your message gets lost. The "pig socks" and Kaep's pretty silly rationalization about why they were ok made his situation a lot worse.. it made him appear "tone deaf".
There are bad cops out there and they are horrible human beings. The cops have a tough job working on the front lines of justice. Every honest cop is a real life super hero. fuck spiderman and batman. An honest cop is the real deal.
Had Kaep presented both sides as i just did or as that Miami Dolphin guy did earlier this week in his crusade about "personal accountability" i think he'd probably be the back up QB someplace. I think the Miami Dolphins did it the right way by trying to bring the police and community together.
