Better than Arteta for sure xDD
He was good at Sevilla and Valencia. I think he is a great manager in a team without superstars overshadowing him. So Arsenal seems perfect.
With Valencia he was very regular at league but bad at cup tournaments. With Sevilla he was the opposite. Very irregular at league, but very good in "cup" tournaments like Europe League. So I don't know what to expect.

This guy seems bit of a left field appointment, had a fantastic first season at Nice, but this season not so well. What do Dortmund fans think?
Management wanted a German speaking coach and he seems to be the best one available. Nagelsmann was probably the preferred option but Hoffenheim wouldn't let him go (and I'm pretty sure he'll be appointed by Bayern summer 2019). After that... who else is there? Rose from Salzburg but everybody leaving Salzburg is heading towards Leipzig. Hasenhüttel is a no-go for .... every fan. A young, maybe even 2nd league coach after last season - could've been great or awful. So... Villas-Boas?
Favre knows Reus, he's developed quite a few youngsters so atleast there's hope the "good guys" will be on the bench instead of Schürrle. And while the first part of this season wasn't great for Nice, Favre has a solid record. Only questions are if he can form a team out of the shipwreck that is our roster and how well he'll adopt to a club that's favourite in most league games. -> Wait and see. Roster is the bigger question mark atm.
I mean the headline and the following "anything else is not good enough" seems like too high a bar. But that's more a question of journalism than of what Kane is saying, it looks measured enough when you look at the statement in its entirety.
im confused, that seems like a pretty fair/measured set of comments.
Doesn't seem like the Usual nonsense hype factory.
Exactly you really can't expect the new captain of a nation so full of pride like England to say we'll try out best and see where it takes us. Sometimes getting the right mindset is the first step to success, if you start the tournament knowing you won't win, then you never will.
Also almost every English boy probably dreams of one day to wear the captain band representing your country in the World Cup, so it's natural to be a bit hyped.

But he was fired for failing to reach the UCL... Which is Arsenal's life blood. 4th place.

Ok so, decent ish manager, knows Reus and also knows Bundesliga. Plays good football as well, however like you said he needs help with transforming that squad a bit. Sokratis to Arsenal seems done already right so need a cb as well, Batman will return to Chelsea as well so you need a striker too?

Interesting indeed, i guess the "style" they play right now offensively suits Ancelotti management, however they are very solid at the back so will be interesting to see what he does there. Wish him well though.
Now Chelsea, please get Sarri in PLEASE Arsenal confirm Unai...interesting! Well next season sure going to be fun as usual!

Getting a good coach and not a random like De Zerbi or Giampaolo is vital to keep people like Koulibaly, Jorginho, and Hamsik, since they seemed to be close to be leaving. Let's see how it goes, surely if there was something were Sarri lacked was his turnover, while Ancelotti is on another level there...
