Was very obvious that he intended to hurt him because of he still held his arm while putting his body weight on top of it, when touching on the ground. Felt like I was watching some hollywood action movie, what a shitshow. You could feel how the whole Liverpool team and fans morale plummeted after Salah left. Before that, they were running all over Madrid ezpz. Didn't even need to watch the rest to know who wins. You should play football once for personal experience to uderstand that it wasn't a convincing foul at all (free kick at most). Get over it. There could be more dangeroues injuries in a typical gaming situation without a foul.

Pretty amazing coincidence :D Both bycicle kicks (Ronaldo & Bale) within a second of eachother in different games.

I think the elbow he gave Karius is what everyone should be up in arms about, but people are too busy being angry about a little tussle. Yeah the emotional impact of the injury has made people a bit nutso. It was a foul sure, but Ramos wasnt trying to hurt him. He WAS trying to hurt Karius and why the ref behind the goal line still exists if they are going to be this useless is beyond me.

Players play like they aren't there and they may as well not be, because they never make decisions. I hope VAR is a success at the World Cup, because I hope to see it in all the top leagues. I watched a lot of Italian football this season and I must say it made the game much more enjoyable. (Except for Lazio fans, they had some iffy calls still)

About the Karius thing... I can show you clips of Messi doing similar things without a punishment. Contacts like this one usually go unpunished when they happen during corners and fouls. Same with blatant holding, pushing and shoving. Crosses in the penalty area are open season. In perspective, maybe Ramos was trying to help Liverpool by knocking Karius out of the game.

It wasnt an accident, Ramos wasnt born yesterday. he understands space. He knew what he was doing. And its not like what Ramos did to Salah wasnt a foul. He just didnt plan on taking him out of the game is all. If you are suggesting that we are alluding to the fact that Karius's boneheaded plays were because he did that or that Real would have lost or whatever, well the answer is no. That sort of conjecture is pointless given the nature of the offense. But if the games laws are followed at the very least Ramos shouldnt have continued in that game. Thats all really.

Messi knocking a tooth or two out of Maicon's mouth during a cross. Google it. I never said it's an accident. I'm saying that these things go unpunished for better or worse. I'm not suggesting anything of what you wrote... I am making fun of Karius.

That is the same as intentionally extending the elbow to hit the goalkeeper as a bully move.

Messi had complete vision of Maicon and smacked him with shoulder without a chance to play the ball. As I said, deliberate hits, nowhere near the ball. Well, i can take your approach, too... Karuis smashed his head into Ramos, while he was extending his elbows to keep balance while falling after being pushed. I understand that the season is over and there is nothing to talk about, but I don't think that such minor accident is worth discussing.

That might be intentional, it also might not be. Meanwhile with Ramos there is absolutely no other reason this happens, only malicious intent. The ball is nowhere near, not even coming in as a too high cross 2 secs later and karius is getting blind sided. So no, these are not even remotely comparable.

As I said I don't think that it's unintentional... I think that there should be no call for reasons stated above.

The problem Ramos has here is that there is no one outside of Real fans that is willing to give him even the slightest benefit of the doubt.
