It's also sort of impressive that 60 million would be City's record signing. They've obviously spent ridiculous sum on their lineup, but acquiring all that without splashing more than 60 on any specific trade still seems excellent business for the most of it.

Jorginho will be in London in the few hours and Sarri will also follow sometime today as well. Conte to be sacked Wednesday and Sarri announced the same day supposedly. But it looks finally over now and we get Jorginho to boot.

Conte knows we are replacing him yet he stays because he wants his money. He turns up to pre season training yesterday and took two sessions, today he will do the same again. If he doesn' turn up for work Chelsea get to throw the book at him for breach of contract etc. However we are either going to sack him or put him on gardening leave (aka pay him his salary whilst he doesn't work for us) to save a bit more money. this is why no one has any respect for chelsea but chelsea fans. you want to sack a guy but you dont have the decency to fire him and would rather force him to terminate his contract voluntarily or give up a chance to find another job this season.

I agree we should have just sacked him it is not like he would be coaching even if we didn't get Sarri but i think there is more politics involved than people know right now. Also i am sure if he said to club i have offer to manage club "x" they will terminate his contract and let him go for free, but he does not want that.

Morata - Giroud - Batman - Abraham (English kid we loaned out to Swansea very good prospect) If we bring in Higuain we would need to sell one striker and loan out Abraham again probably, but even then how you keep all 3 happy will be hard.

Marrota, Juventus sports director when asked about Ronaldo : "There will be news soon" CRISTIANO Ronaldo and Real Madrid have reportedly agreed the terms of his exit. Italian football expert Gabriele Marcotti claims a deal has been agreed for Ronaldo to depart the Santiago Bernabeu to join Italian giants Juventus, with an official announcement from either side expected in the next 48 hours. “I was sceptical from the beginning,” Marcotti told ESPN FC. “But it’s my understanding that an agreement has been reached in principle involving Real Madrid and Ronaldo. “Remember this was the key issue - Madrid are happy to let him go, on principle. “Ronaldo is happy to go, on principle. “Ronaldo agreeing terms with Juventus, on principle. “But the key issue was going to be the terms of his departure, whether Ronaldo was going to come out and explain why he was moving on. “Its my understanding that they’ve all agreed how they’re going to do this. “And there should be developments in the next 24-48 hours. Kinda sad when out of all these strikers Giroud is your best man..

Its a brand / money / change of scenery move more than anything. Serie A isnt that great but its not awful, there are some good teams there. And to be fair for him there isnt anything left to prove.

Higuain definitely feels more like a traditional Chelsea striker than Morata does. Of course Sarri (or whoever ends up there) might have a say on that too.
