At least back to his 2010 standard and then surpassing the 2014 WC win.

If he doesn't score in the first three games he obviously lied? Sad that he's gone, sad that he is still too dense to realize what was going on - seems like a situation where nobody learnt anything and everyone lost.

Not a fan of the turkish president but thats some shameful betrayal of the player with how they handled it from what he says.

But yeah thats exactly his intention with these letters, avoid talk about his performance in the WC. That's what the whole German football has been doing since their fail. Avoid talking about it but rather talk about everything else

But somehow you know better.

If that actually goes through i can only call it karma for them distrupting Watford's form with their poaching. Which was when the new Everton manager left Watford. The manager likes him, he likes the manager (at the time when he was fired, his social media clearly showed that) so odds of him having more playing time in Everton are good. Regarding transfer fees and the other discussion in the previous page, IIRC agents are not only paid 10% of the transfer fee but 10% of something else….I cant recall for sure but it has something to do with wages. For Warding that is also from Portugal, remember the Rafa transfer and the amounts being discussed?

Point is who are they to impose views on ozil. It's just a picture and not a text/speech to endorse. He's the leader of his family's roots. He did not travel to turkey to worship him. Even the queen hosted erdogan, so what's wrong with a resident in UK meeting him as well in UK. Is ozil only allowed to post these letters if he helped Germany win the world cup? I think he played like shit but it doesn't change that he has been unfairly treated like shit as well. Just cuz he's an immigrant of Turkish roots means he must avoid all things Turkish?

3rd goal he parried the ball to the Dortmund player. Said it before, karius never once looked good. All his 'spectacular' saves were actually just easy saves made to look difficult. I don't believe in concussion. I think he is just bad to begin with.

Keeping Low, allowing this clown Grindel to keep his position, forcing out a Turkish-ancestry player. This team is going to learn absolutely nothing from their colossal failures at the WC and they are going to discourage all of the immigrant-ancestry talent from wanting to associate with the German national team. I actually really don't like Ozil and think that in a lot of ways he is acting like a child with how this is all happening. However, you can't really argue against his points; the DFB treated him like shit and he's dealt with a lot of racist crap that people are willing to let pile on top of the footballing criticism leveled towards him. Germany is going to put out some pathetic performances over the next couple years and the DFB will have no one to blame but themselves.

The whole thing got politicized That was exactly the intention behind the photo by Erdogan and that dumbfuck Özil either let Erdogan take advantage of him(unlikely) or didn't care. That is why people are mad at him and why he (and Gündogan) should've been kicked out of the team before the tournament in not only my opinion. If you want I can explain a bit about the background. This just isn't the same as taking a pic with Macron or whoever. € @Stratos You can argue with all of his points besides his dig at Grindel. He even contradicts himself at certain points...

Well obviously taking photos with politicians would carry a risk that it gets politicised, especially when you're a prominent figure. I think people are unhappy because they're equating the photo as ozil's clear public endorsement of the regime. So what if deep inside he likes erdogan, who could be a dictator/murderer or whatever. That's his choice to make. If the UK is OK to welcome such a person, what's wrong with ozil doing so.

But he also has to live with the obvious repercussions (some of which were out of line, most however weren't) instead of playing the victim card which he's doing now.
