I don't think United or Real doing well commercially is due to their logos being better than other clubs mate ...

A team who was in EL groupstage for the last 3 years... because they made it through the qualifiers to get there... In those 3 years, during EL groupstages they got 4 wins (2x PAOK Saloniki, Anderlecht, Dnjepro) and 5 draws (2x St. Etienne, Monaco, Liberec, Inter)
Those results were enough to make them a seeded team for rounds 2 and 3 in this years CL quals, which naturally results in comparably easy opponents. In the final round they had to play seed #3(Kobenhavn), and beat them.
Sorry, but they did absolutely everything to deserve this CL spot. And calling it lucky draws is really dishonest.

But you are right. The word "lucky" wasn't used, just well paraphrased.
Overall prolly about as easy of a pathway as they could get, I guess. ;p

If its any consolation that was my takeway (roughly) from the comment. Although I saw some of the game today and they arent as bad as the scoreline suggests imo. It was a bit of a perfect storm with a couple of screamers and some really sloppy nervous errors near the end that accounted for the fluff in the scoreline. I think if they settle they may give some of the other teams a run for their money atleast.

The Premier League teams playing tonight have much tougher opening games. It's not that unlikely all three of them will lose.
City won again. A glamorous mid week trip to Barnet. We are now 19 points from 21.

Palace have appointed grandpa Hodgson. Can he even remeber what a football is? I don't think that's a good choice.

He is from the Palace area of London, knows what the club was like in the past should be a good fit maybe

Kind of hyped for Feyenoord - Manchester City
Feyenoord have had a great start of the season so far. But then you read articles that the City team is worth 850 million and you think well this will never happen. But City also has not won the past six away matches in the CL so they have a curse to overcome. And Man U also lost in the Kuip last year
edit: 1m45s City scores GG
