Overall, more trades will be made before fall season, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. Offensively, I think Patriots are fine. D will probably get bolstered, but they seem to be fine this season for another potential SB run.

After digesting what the Niners did at the draft over the past couple days, I'm largely okay with the thought process of the Niners. McGlinchey is a sneaky good pick given that 1) they badly needed additional protection for Jimmy G, 2) the Niners need to replace their tackles in the next couple of years, and 3) unlike Trent Brown, McGlinchey is actually usable in Shanahan's outside zone run game. The Niners offense is set to make a really big leap this season and may very well be top 5. The Pettis pick in the second round is a little questionable. Given Shanahan's history of drafting and developing receivers, I have no doubt that he will be good. I just wonder whether the trade up was necessary. I would rather have seen the Niners trade up to get Isaiah Oliver, who basically looks like a better version of Witherspoon, instead of drafting Tarvarius Moore. I don't quite get why the Niners have such a boner for attempting to convert safeties into CBs rather than just drafting CBs. The Niners best value pick probably is Fred Warner in the third round. I think that he'll fit in very well. I know that many Niners fans are upset with the two redshirt picks in the later rounds, but every draft pick on the third day is a lotto ticket anyway, so I don't really care that much about those. All in all, the Niners got much-needed depth at OL, WR, and LB at the expense of buttressing CB and DE. I can understand passing on the edge players in this draft given how weak the class was and given that the Niners are banking on some of their existing talent improving (especially Solomon Thomas). However, I don't like the degree to which the Niners seem to be banking upon Sherman's achilles holding up. Seems like a B-grade draft.

You are overlooking future HOF, 10-time SB champ and 7th round pick Danny Etling from LSU Also, Eric Reid committing career suicide by filing collusion grievance against the NFL for not being signed yet. He is insane to do this after half an offseason of not being signed. The safety market is in a strange place right now and there is a lot of big names still not signed, so why does he think he is special? Now no team will sign him!! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000930981/article/freeagent-safety-eric-reid-files-grievance-under-cba
