He should take the money He was considered a better baseball prospect coming out of high school than qb even though he was a 5 star and he went to A&M to be dual sport athlete originally. People always projected his future as baseball
Edit They’re reporting that he’s taking half the draft slot money to keep playing football but is still with the As

Yes, while everyone else is ignoring the elephant in the room - it was the government (DND) who forced national anthem in the NFL in the first place.
Honest though if you were an equal prospect for baseball vs football I don't see how you would pick football any day of the week. Let alone if you were that much more of a baseball prospect.
QB is different than the other positions. Jeff Smardja (wrong spelling but you know him) was a TE and a Pitcher. Thats an easy choice for baseball. But QB vs. Baseball (IDK if he's a pitcher or position player) is tough. As a QB if you get drafted you are basically guaranteed 4 years in the NFL, whereas in baseball you might never make the MLB.

he's an outfielder
Kyler Murray is listed at like 5'10 though. I know the short QB thing has taking some hits with Brees and Wilson and stuff but he makes them look tall
the Samardzija one is obvious like you said though. he was considered the #2 receiver prospect behind Calvin Johnson the year he ended college. I believe his current baseball contract is worth more than Calvin Johnson's career earnings. Pitchers get paid ridiculous money
And no one has ever changed their mind! I mean it could be injury, suspension, who knows it is so vague. It also could be what it likely is and that is BS but we won't know for 6 hours!

It's bullshit. The fact that I haven't received an ESPN alert on the story is sufficient enough for me.

if i'm an 18 year old pitcher striking out 15+ guys every game throwing nothing but 4-seam and 2-seam fastballs with zero arm problems then i'm going baseball all the way. if i'm throwing screwballs, sliders, and cut fastballs to get guys out at age 18 and having elbow and shoulder problems i'd consider going the QB route.
one caveat: if Andrew Friedman's organization drafts me as an 18 year old pitcher then i'm also going with baseball all the way as well. i'm pretty sure Friedman runs the Dodgers these days.
Looks like Nebraska is generally perceived to get at least 6 wins this season. We play most of the heavy Big10 hitters on the road, so I can see us dropping a few. Also of note, is that there are some 50/50 games that could do either way. I think, depending on development through the season, we could get 2 extra wins out of that.

It doesn't look like it. We will probably fall below the ACC in terms of strength. SEC, ACC, B10, Pac12. I just don't see us staying near the top this time around. Would be lucky to get 2 or 3 teams in the top 15 let alone top 10 by midseason.

Just looking at what happened in the draft and recruiting news. A lot of talent is leaving the Big10 and a lot of still developing players. OSU will do things as usual, but then I'm not sure about the next top 5 (Wiscy, UM, MSU, PSU, Neb)
Its easiest to stall pre-trial and against poorly funded opponents. Bush is neither ATM. Best bet is for a reduction on appeal, but they will probably owe him either way.
