Also Clay Matthews with another BS roughing the passer cal. It’s getting to be ridiculous.

Went from people thought gonna be 31-7 to Stanford coming back from 24-7 to win in OT Also I saw someone really put the VT loss in perspective. ODU lost by 6 TDs to Liberty earlier this year. Sagarin ratings had ODU as worse than 51 FCS teams. They went into Blacksburg and won by 2 TDs with VT having over 40 recruits in attendance. Computers may have had App State vs Michigan as a closer matchup tbh considering App State was like the 3x defending FCS champ at the time. Obviously the Michigan situation was a much bigger deal since it was actually FBS vs FCS, Michigan was #5 at the time, and has a massively bigger national presence than VT, but this is a pretty fucking big upset. ODU football has only existed since 2009 btw Not that it makes *that* much of a difference in how much of an upset it is, but they were playing at ODU, not in Blacksburg. This loss feels reminiscent and typical of so many other VT seasons, bleh. And our QB being likely injured and the dismissal of a key defensive player just makes all of that worse. I'm mainly hoping they can pull out enough wins against the other weak ACC teams to keep their bowl streak alive at this point.

Rule states unnecessary which NBC had in bold and that the defender must strive to not land on the qb. NBC also had strive highlighted. In what way was that landing unnecessary? They kept replaying the play and looks to me like Clay Matthews had no way of avoiding that landing no matter how much he strove.

Pats have gronk and a bunch of people who can't beat single coverage right now. Feels like survive until week 5 when Edelman comes back. Not that that helps the defense looking inept

As to the guy who injured himself, freak injuries are part of the NFL.
