And this season they don't have Cristiano and Kovacic. They got an unneeded goalkeeper and Vinicius and Odriozola.
If they don't buy any player, their striker plan is Benzema (16 goals in two Liga seasons) and Mayoral... wow. And they still don't have a third CB since Pepe left (Nacho is good, but he is is not a real CB).
Maybe they are lucky and Bale is not injured half season.
i dunno about unneeded, courtois is 5 years younger than navas, who is 31. getting younger and not a downgrade in skill at a key position is good.

I mean, goalkeeper was not a high-priority position compared to other positions this season. Of course it is a good transfor for a good price.

31 isn't that bad for a goalie really. Some are only starting to peak at that point.
Do you think Lewandovski to Real could happen? If I remember correctly, he was eager to leave Bayern at some point and Real probably has both the finances and open position in their roster. Real probably would like to have some kind of high profile signing to offset the loss of Ronaldo too.

I think he tanked his market value with the world cup performance, hard to justify Bayerns asking price for a fairly old guy if he doesn't show up on the biggest stage. Maybe Real will desperately be looking for someone in January, seems more likely to me tho that they will try for something big like neymar or Mbappe next summer and Lewa might have missed his window / closed it with a too long Bayern contract.

Yeah, I don't think Lewa is at the peak of his powers at this point. It more feels like the two are the last two left on the dancefloor and looking at each other thinking "why not?"
Sitting back this trade window just seems so weird. Their offensive game was already sort of bailed out by Ronaldo finding some magic towards the rest of the season, but even then both La Liga and cup were already lost causes. Going to another season with even weaker offensive lineup seems to go against Real's stature as one of the true giants of the sport. They could very well be chasing badly by the next trade window already.

Today is D-Day regarding the Columbus Crew move to Austin. The city council of Austin makes a decision today. If there is a god they will vote against Precourt today.

Pink, with flamingoes holding hands? That's some scary looking team right there.

I hope Real lose!
No more Zidane means I dont have to cheer for them anymore!

Lol, Lopetegui, what's up with that brain dead defense ? And with the subs, too.
The first official game of Lopetegui is a disaster. The team plays so bad.

It was a fun match for a preseason supercup.

Well this Real team will never perform under Lopetegui. So many people kept saying Zidane was only successful because of the respect he commanded. Now the players have a coach who is a scum of a person in Lopetegui, how should this work

I mean I totaly get Inter Miami as a concept but flamingos and that color scheme is not it. It should be channeling the carrabian (and cuba specificaly on the down low) the way chivas was trying to channel mexican Americanism.
Also I'm sad Austin is getting the team instead of san antonio. I'm really hopeing that they both can get MLS teams down the road. Both those cities need a pro sports team.

Doubt it will be a big game.

no idea why anyone could possibly think thats a good idea except for americans. well americans and la liga, since theyre obviously being given a lot of money. id assume theyd have to make every team play there at least once to make things fair though.

Tebas (La liga president) is just a retard. Terrible schedules all weeks, always bad for going to the stadiums. Now this... He doesn't have any respect for club supporters or players.

what a travesty that in 2018 burnley's EL match has absolutely no video broadcast whatsoever.
