I couldn't even figure out how to chat. I had to keep refreshing the page with the messages to get his messages, and then send him pm's. I navigated away from the matchmaking page once and I couldn't even figure out how to get back there through the site. I had to reopen the link in the op to get back to the matchmaking page so I could view my opponent's chat. I won't ever be using this. I've already spent too much time trying to figure it out, and it's way too time consuming to use.

I was able to get to the matchmaking section and a partner popped up with a choice of two maps. I picked one then it said neither of us picked a map still. The metropolis map choice picture link was broken too. I then started frantically navigating the site trying to figure out how to do anything. My opponents battle.net id and name weren't listed. I couldn't figure out how to add mine to my profile. I couldn't even figure out how to chat. I had to keep refreshing the page with the messages to get his messages, and then send him pm's. I'm sorry you had so much trouble The chat relies on having an active xmpp connection and javascript, so it's possible either you have something blocking it (browser, browser settings, addons/plugins like noscript, or even firewall). If you do try again, make sure your browser is up to date (or try another browser, at least firefox/chrome always work best) I have just reuploaded all the map images to at least solve that Thanks for trying, hopefully the US admins will organise some cups that you may find easier to play in!

If we don't distribute by country, then players from countries that are already active on ESL would have an even more enormous advantage. This doesnt even make sense. First you say there is an incentive (for active countries) and then you say without it the same countries will be even at bigger advantage... Can you just explain the actual algorithm for the keys distribution?

Can you just explain the actual algorithm for the keys distribution? The more people from a country play, the more invites they get. We have a fixed number of invites, ergo the number of invites is based on the number of players in your country divided by the number of players total. At the same time we will try to give every country at least one or more invites.

So this is basicly a proportion with the exception it favours the least developed scenes by offering at least 1 invite. Ok you convinced me. So what do I have to do to get a Ukrainian invite? Play most games during which period? Will you ban players who instant leave every game or just 6 pool all the time?

Probably the same thing a lot of people complain about. The site simply has poor design. MLG had a bad site, they acknowledged and fixed it, and now it is much more navigable. It shouldn't take someone new several minutes to figure out how to do anything.

I am very interested in getting a beta key and I would also be willing to invest a lot of time in this task. However I'm not in for that If this goes along the way of trading and abusing like it happened with picfarming in SC2. How are you going to ensure that most keys don't go to leavers and abusers? I've started an hour ago and already had two people giving me freewins. Please ESL keep the scene clean and don't support leavers and multi account playing. What are you going to do if after the four days there are people with over thousand wins which is clearly impossible to get from legit playing?
