I nominate brotosterone.
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=120525#15
This guy has joined TL.net just a couple of days ago. Being in this community for only a couple days he has made a generous offer handing out Google Wave invites and also Demonoid invites. He has sent 2 Google Wave invites for my girlfriend and I which I am thankful for. It's always nice to be organized in college.

can't think of any good NEW posters who dont already have a key.
Haha...this is likely an effect of them not having a key, given that TL's definition of a good poster is one who can drop knowledge on par with those who have been beta playing since the beginning.

TL's definition of a good poster is someone who respects community veterans, contributes as best they can, follows the 10 commandments, does post 4chan meme BS, and is overall pleasant.
don't have to be gosu to be a good poster. look at kwark!
+ Show Spoiler +sooooooooooo totally joking ^_^

really nice idea i remember a guy called konadora who had a few posts not so long ago but all of them were awesome (hi@ yummy translations). but i guess he has a few too many posts now to be nominated :D
but seems like a problem that i have around 2100 posts right now. to few for getting veteran stuff, too much to get something out of this thread here. seems like i'll never get a key T_T

Typo, I assume...

Congrats, TossFloss...I hope you don't get any banelings stuck between your teeth!

Wow, TossFloss. You, sir, are a beast. I did not previously notice your threads but they are just downright stupendous. Congratulations! I do not know how you managed to get this far without a key practically being thrown at you haha. I'm really looking forward to your posts from now on.
Same congratulations to Aether and Klapdout. It's just simply amazing to see people with such dedication to a game they haven't even gotten the chance to play yet! Enjoy guys. ^^

He seems like a really genuine guy and I think he would be very gracious if you even just considered him. Congrats Aether on getting a key! I'm backing IndecisivePenguin as well, I only started to get to know him in the CRUEL! contest. He puts thought, effort in his posts and he's good humored to boot! He stepped up to the challenge and justified his decisions. He wasn't afraid of voicing his opinion despite the criticism. He's shown to be quite open to it in fact and will respect it. He backed up what he had to say as well. Whether or not you agree with what he has to say, he seems like a reasonable person to me, just like NightOfTheDead, also another nominee I would consider for demonstrating he can think, something I haven't seen from a lot of new users. Though, I don't know if he wants to post more, but if he does, he'll do good. I would like to read more from them both about various topics in the future.
Ah, you guys are really great. I've spoken to each of these people with the exception of NightOfTheDead (something I do hope will change soon) and I believe them both to be good fellows at heart. cloudJR and I have had some nice discussions on the side about various topics, like the thread, but also just about general life things. He just seems like a great guy, really. Cheree, he caused quite a stir in that thread, but I know he was just trying to look after the newer posters as best he could. He empathizes with them, and it's tough to stand for what you think in an atmosphere like that. He wasn't very popular with the crowd, but I have to respect his courage. I would be glad to see either of them playing the Beta.

I would second jhNz's nomination if he were a new poster. Him and Blind, definitely. Blind seems like he's been here for quite a while without too much recognition for his older posts, and jhNz's shirts are just downright nifty haha. I'd take his word for it when he says that he believes his posts have been quality over the past years. Hope you two get into the Beta soon.

I don't really know Ares[Effort] at all, but just by this thread I can see that he has contributed a pretty nice chunk of stuff to TL so far. I would second his nomination. You can also find more backing for his nomination here and here.
If any of these people, or anyone else I don't know about, deserve a key more than I, please, do not hesitate to give it to them instead. Many thanks to intrigue for the great opportunity.

Ah, I love this way of giving out keys. Those who got keys clearly show that even without beta keys, you can still contribute a lot. Conratulations, those of you who got keys!

I'll throw my support behind brotosterone as well, dude's awesome, plus the vid of his dad asking for a beta key was hilarious

I nominate all girls here (wherever they are hiding) because well.. the girl-line isn't saturated by far! ;p
|
I would like to nominate "cloudJR" if he does not have an beta key I've seen few posts of his that show he really really has a potential for understanding and šlaying the game. If this contest is still on.
|
What qualifies as "new" members? Since I'd like to nominate Harem, but I kinda doubt he would qualify as new.
|
Hey, thanks a lot to everyone congratulating me, and thank you SO MUCH to team liquid for making my day. I'm so pumped right now, I can't wait to play. Can't thank TeamLiquid and Intrigue enough, you all have a special place in my heart lol.

I figured I would get some questions about this, but no that's not me. I've never played any RTS games competitively, and all of my starcraft knowledge basically comes from playing v-tec paintball use map settings games on the old SC1. I did play a game called Day of Defeat competitively, but the community was pretty small so not much money to be had. I played for United5 and rSports in that game where we managed to take second place at WSVG before the game basically died.
Again thanks so much for this key. AHHH! So awesome!

I would like to nominate Lagmaster's Girlfriend.
That Pumpkin she made was the fucking coolest pumpkin I have ever seen.
