I really enjoy having a little control while watching VODs so this just suits me perfectly! Besides that, you also provide great commentary. Great great work!! Keep'em coming!!

Again, I have to try really hard to find criticisms. When you pronounce etcetera, its 'et setera' not 'ec setera', super minor and barely noticed it because the game was fantastic. You're spot on for noticing everything! I often find myself watching a commentary on the youtubes and see movement towards an expo, but the caster is too concentrated on the outcome of the fight that they noticed earlier. That didn't happen once with this, minus missing upgrades that pop up, but that is to be expected because of the speed both players are going at. Great stuff JP, keep it up!

May I suggest you spec/obs some games, while following the action as a spectator? Then we can just tap 3 or whatever to follow your camera movements? (That works with spectators as well right?) You could do your recording while spectating, or after. Just a different way of doing it.

On average I observer anywhere from 5-15 games with EG, Root, and other random players a day. Good idea

Well done with these. You have a great voice for commentating, you know what your talking about and you don't get over excited. Also, I don't know how you made your audio track only play thru my center speaker, but thanx. It gives the track a bit of extra clarity. Your 5th replay was missing one small thing which your 1st and 2nd did quite well. In the first couple of replays you guided the player on where to look as you were speaking. For example you would say 'over in playerX base you can see that he has added on another y, and back in playerZs expo he has just placed a turrent in the mineral line to deter harass' or something similar. A lot of the time during these replays you did a very good job of helping me to keep my attention where it mattered. In the 5th replay there was very little of this. You were still obviously keeping an eye on everything and were saying when people were taking key upgrades etc, but you didn't give the same level of positional guidance. This lead me to watch the battles more and only know what people were doing (macro) via your speech (and info tabs). Considering 'positional guidance' as a tool for use in audio casting, another tool which I feel you could incorporating into your analysis quite well would be the info tabs. You could for example say 'On the resource tab you can see that the food counts are quite close at 50:56' or 'Looking at the units lost tab you can see that that initial attack was very costly to playerY. He only managed to kill 6 units and has lost over 30 himself.' By directing the player which tab to look at and then drawing an opinion based on it you may have another tool to play around with. Overall I love how these are coming along. Now I find that as soon as i've got my Day9 daily fill this thread is my 2nd stop before I move onto other things. <3

It's a shame that you cant watch a replay, and then save the replay of you watching the replay as a spectator. This would be a great addition to replays for a lot of reasons.

To JP, something to try would be a mic that is on your desk then when you move closer during a fight then it could give your voice character. Other than that just commentate whn obsing even if youre not recording just for practise on your words. Really looking forward to these, wish more of these were available
