SotG is kinda like SC2. It won't die as long as people love watching/playing it. Even if the host/pillars share their time with other games, as long as they still love SC2, there will be people to wait for the next episode. It doesn't need to be weekly/monthly/half-a-yearly/whatever, no matter the delay between shows, we'll still wait for it and watch it. So thanks, have a good end to 2013, a better start for 2014, and hopefully lots more SotG to come Edit: just to put more emphasis on it, especially after the previous post, yes, other shows are (very) good, Chanman's, djWHEAT's, all great. But SotG is... well it's friggin' State of the Game. Just keep 'em coming, we'll be there

And I hope this comes out of MP3, so I can continue my tradition of listening to it in my car on the way to work.

And no, I don't mean going overboard and bringing strippers on the call. It just felt like JP was eager to cut the show off early for no particular reason before incontrol and nony get drunk and hilarious in an extended episode, which is really all we (I?) want. JP doesn't want any of the drama previously associated with SotG, so stopping people from getting to drunk is a good way to avoid that.

We had many wonderful tournaments in 2013 which produced some of the sickest games we've seen. There's a stacked tournament lineup in 2014. We have a lot to be thankful for - and as long as SC2 is the only quality RTS around and great games are still produced, we will maintain viewership. It just sickens me to see some of what used to be the "pillars" of the SC2 community continually reinforce this negative attitude toward the game. Perhaps this negativity is a result of you not, in fact, BEING "pillars" anymore in anything but a nostalgic sense of the word. Perhaps it is because SC2 was booming and you were basking in its glory, and now you've contributed to fumbling the ball with continual immature and embarassing handling of it. It saddens me to see how this situation and these people have evolved as reality has set in over time. This is of course just my opinion, having been a fan of State of the Game and SC2 since beta.
