I know that you've put a lot of effort into this and I would probably use such an applicaiton, if it wasn't for the price tag. There is no way of knowing if the app is worth anything before you shell out the cash. If you made a free app with the limitation that you could only store 5 or so build orders, then you could get people hooked on the free version, which is obviously not enough but does show the feel of the app. EDIT: It's not that I don't want to pay for it, but there is no reason for a developer to provide a good piece of software when the customer pays up front and you have no follow up sales. Yes sums it up pretty good. Especially if you have access to Web solutions via any phone a price of 1,99 is to much from my point of view. Dont get me wrong. I also buy Apps for 10 € or even 45 € but i "demand" some way to test it priorly and if im going to spend money i need to know thaat the App fullfills my needs. Another way would maybe be to lower the price to lets say 79 cent (think of the possible audience you can reach with SC2 if you make a good app), or maybe do a promo time where you give the app away for free. After some time and when the app shows off as very good, just establish a price (like 0,79). Keep up the work and lower the price. It will pay off. Trust me.

Even if the program is for free you can't just stole the graphics and use it in your product. I am going to contatct Apple and Blizzard support if the creator of this app dont prove the origin of his graphics. Its like if I would take all best Metallica songs and put it into my new game.....I am not selling the music I am selling code/effort of the app.....LOL..hilarious.

Its true, sadly what the OP is doing is illegal IMO. Still, I think I will spend the $2 to pick this app up, it will be worth it even if no more works goes into this app. It looks great!

The question is whether or not this app will make enough money for Blizzard to care to come after the creator for their cut OR if Blizzard thinks this app makes them look bad by possible confusing people into thinking it is a Blizzard product and they have it removed. Let's see. App sells estimated 1000 times, 2000 dollars. Blizzard/Apple lawyer hourly wage .... nevermind. Won't get taken down. That said, while it might be a handy app for practicing BO's that you don't know yet, you'll be better off if you just learn them by heart right away or just write them on a piece of paper. For $2.00, you can buy two lined college blocks and a 5-pack of ballpoints. That can store more BO's and timings than this app ever will, plus you could hardly argue that it's cheating. My advice: You need to 'feel' a build order to be succesful with it (to be able to make adjustments on the fly). Hearing an audio cue and working from that is counterproductive.

You'll spend more on coffee today. ;-) A one dollar difference does not make much difference in terms of the number of sales. Also, It was $.99 for the first two days, and free for the last 12 hours of day two. I could not post on TL yet because I had just made the account. Also, blame the testing on Apple. Android has a much better "try for 24 hours and get a refund" policy.
