I'm glad he treats each milestone as if it was his last battle (because it very well could be.) I think it's easy for people who reach success to get overconfident, thus paving the way for upsets. | ||

I don't understand the mentality behind Terrans complaining about the supply depot before rax thing. Protoss need a pylon before they can proxy gate, and its not like Zerg can proxy a 6 pool or anything. Terran will just now have to deal with a 6 pool or some extremely early cheese in the same manner as protoss now does. Lets face it, good Protoss and Terrans should be praying for a Zerg to 6 pool, 90% of the time its giving away a free win. Not to mention the popularity of 2 rax before depot on the Korean server. This change makes sense to me. | ||

It can't be to balance 2v2+, because rax/dual rax first is the only way no to die to multiple 6 pool or multiple proxy gates in 2v2+. Can't be for 1v1...because well, it just can't, how was rax first ever a problem in 1v1 ? It was sometime cheese (like in GSL TLO vs hyperdub), sometime for fast reapers (already nerfed). And you can't nerf cheese when this already depends on not being scouted. It's one of the worst thought change in the history of sc/bw/sc2 imo, changing a fine thing that will remove game depth, I just can't beleive it's from the official website... | ||

Wrong. Protoss players had to create a pylon to proxy gate. You just have to make a supply depot that doesn't have to be anywhere near the barracks. 1 Probe can start a 15 proxy gate rush. You need 15 SCVs to do the same. Is it make up dumb stuff day? | ||

CheckPrme Q. What do you think will change about ZvP? A. I'm not expecting the Roach range increase to make much difference. To be honest Force Fields were way too powerful. There wasn't much a Zerg could do when most of his units were shut down with Force Fields. Even after the patch, I'm not expecting this to change if the Protoss uses his Force Fields well. I am glad about the Fungal Growth fix, though. That is so true.... force fields are so strong against zerg that zerg nearly have no chance against a decent p army in mid game..... we do see in youtube videos that even check and cool cant hold of a decent protoss mid game army..... but shouldnt buffing hydras be a better solution than buffing roaches?? | ||

Well they didn't consider that when they made the zealot build time increase, why would they consider 6 pool now? And how does this change walling off? You make depot, rax, depot just like you would normally do if you weren't cheesing. Terran players seem pretty terrified of the idea that they might have to play like the other two races and actually survive in the early game. They have been spoiled. | ||
