first i tried 10 roach+ burrow asap. After 1 million simulated games and ALL of them including 2!!! roach warrens i stopped the simulation. Can't you limit the number of roach warrens somehow? I mean if those were actually factories i would be fine with 2. But roach warrens? It should stop such nonsense long before reaching 1000k simulated games. Also, i had several 100k simulations where the simulation ended with 37/36 supply. I think there is something still bugged with supply calculations. And i would love to see how many larvae are still available when the goal is reached (like if i go for 10 roach + burrow + tunneling claws and i can see that there has to be at least 1 unused larvae at the end and the simulator says it has 36/42 population and 123 minerals. I want to know if there are 1 or 3 larvae to spend those minerals on when i have my 10 roach + upgrades). Also i noticed that i finished with 200 gas but only 120 minerals. It often looked like it would be way better to pull drones off gas. Does the simulator include such a function? Other than that, this seems like a great tool. I bow before the master | ||

Would it be possible to include barriers, which prohibit the calculation of apparently wrong build orders, e. g. excluding the roach warren unless roaches must be build? | ||

what i'd love to see is a more common way of printing the results, like usual BOs. would make it a lot easier to read. for example, when a calculation is done: export as BO. | ||

I think this would not only greatly increase the calculation speed but also allows for much more detailed situation-based builds. Not that i would deny that 4 hatcheries might get me faster to maxed than 2, but defending 4 bases isn't always a viable strategy. Also i must say i love the waypoint system. Still it looks like for each waypoint it does double the calculation time (i just want to force it to go Queen before Lair instead of Lair before Queen :p ) | ||

It continues then with drone, drone, drone, drone, drone - obviously it is better to build more drones before building overlord and spawning pool, if you do nothing in the time but building drones. | ||

I would like it if rather than a set number of something, I could tell it to build as many as possible of X by the time limit. For example, say I wanted to try a Muta rush at 8 minutes, it'd be nice if I could tell it to have as many Mutas as possible at 8 minutes, with waypoints of like fast hatchery, 2 spine crawlers, 2 queens, 6 Zerglings and Metabolic Boost. As is it seems useful for small builds or cheesy rush builds to figure out the optimized way to do those, but the longer you're setting the game up for the less reliable the program becomes because it seems to do things that real players just wouldn't do. I'd also like to see Protoss and Terran versions, but one thing at a time :D Edit: Oh also, does it know about Spawn Larva? I don't see larva injections anywhere in the build orders. | ||
